Life In 2030: We Are Going To See Massive Changes

▶️ Watch on 3Speak

Biology is under the Laws of IT, how does that affect food production? Automobiles will be robots. Millions of acres of land will be freed up.

In this video I discuss how the next decade will see radical changes. The coronavirus is implementing a lot of changes but they are using technologies that were developed 10 years ago. The next decade will see enormous changes.

Isn't pace of technology progression limited by a pace of adoption which is more linear than exponential on avarage? What I mean is mostly limitation coming from our human biology understood as lower neuroplasticity of older brains. Again, on avarage. We might see greater and greater technological inequalities. That would be very interesting thing to here about.

Great content, I enjoy your podcasts a lot. Cheers!

Technical progress runs at its own pace as does human adoption. That said, they are two separate animals.

For example, the pace towards autonomous vehicles is exclusive of people's adoption of them. They are in development. Certainly regulation and other factors will come into play when they are ready but that is not going to hinder the technological progress/improvements.

The one factor that we could point to is funding. That is one of the reasons why so many are misreading what is taking place. They use age old principles to determine what is going on. Unfortunately for them, it is a new world and ideologies that were, perhaps, valid, 30-40 years ago are no longer true.

In a nutshell, what I am saying is a boatload of money is required to keep up with the technological pace we should be on.

Even this year we have so many changes due to covid :) 2030.. hard to even imagine

Yes and those changes are done using technologies developed over the last decade to decade and a half.

Imagine what we will see when what is being rolled out of labs and the minds of developers right now is embraced.

Summary:
In this video, Task discusses the technological advancements and changes that are expected to shape society and various industries by 2030. He talks about the shift towards synthetic biology, particularly in agriculture, and how it could revolutionize food production. Task also mentions the rise of autonomous vehicles and its potential impact on transportation and related industries. The video emphasizes the interconnectedness of different technologies and industries, predicting significant changes in how we work, shop, travel, and even eat by 2030.

Detailed Article:
Task delves into the transformative potential of technological advancements that are expected to reshape society significantly by 2030. He begins by highlighting the recent wake-up call brought about by the Coronavirus pandemic, leading to changes in how people work, shop, and consume. Task emphasizes that these changes are just a fraction of what's to come in the next decade.

One major theme discussed is the concept of synthetic biology, which involves breaking down and codifying DNA to replicate biological functions. Task explains how this could revolutionize not only healthcare but also agriculture, by shifting from traditional biological evolution to a more controlled and advanced form through technology. This shift in agriculture could lead to localized, more abundant, and healthier food production while reducing dependence on extensive shipping and fossil fuels.

The conversation then shifts to the imminent integration of autonomous vehicles into daily life. Task highlights current developments in automated trucking, pointing out that these technologies will have profound effects on transportation, automobile manufacturing, and even the real estate industry as parking lots and garages are repurposed. This analysis underscores how even small shifts, such as a percentage of miles being driven autonomously, can have cascading impacts on various sectors.

Furthermore, Task draws parallels between the rapid growth of technologies like cryptocurrency and blockchain with the upcoming advancements in various other fields. He points out that the progress in these sectors, though not dominant yet, indicates a significant trajectory towards integration in the future societal landscape. Task emphasizes how various technologies work in conjunction and have a butterfly effect on industries, leading to broader implications such as changes in the oil industry, travel, and even retail.

In closing, Task predicts a drastic transformation in society post-2030, emphasizing the acceleration of remote work, the rise of virtual reality, 3D printing, and their impacts on training, entertainment, and manufacturing. The overarching message recognizes the rapid pace of technological evolution and the impending need for adaptation and adjustment as these innovations become more pervasive and integrated into our daily lives.
