Dr. Dan Erickson of Bakersfield, California has made very clear that from his clinic's perspective, there is no reason to continue the COVID19 lockdown. He openly states that Dr. Fauci, who is leading policy making in the US, is out of touch and is not basing his decisions on valid science. He infers that Fauci is at best 'ideologically driven' (or at worst is corrupt and exploiting the situation for his own gain).
Specific points raised:
- The answer as to whether or not we need to continue to stay at home and keep businesses closed is an emphatic "NO".
- Covid-19 is in fact no more dangerous than seasonal flu.
- Quarantining is a health hazard in and of itself.
- ER doctors are being pressured to add Covid-19 to death reports.
- Not about science. Not about Covid-19. When they use the word "safe" - that's about controlling you.
These Doctors are certainly not alone in these thoughts and as I have shared several times already, there is a MOUNTAIN of evidence that the policy makers are exerting an extremely corrupting influence over the situation for reasons which most would not support and may even be horrified at if they knew the full details.

I completely disagree with this piece. However, I also disagree with a complete lockdown. The problem lies in that this disease is easily transmissible and is much much worse than the seasonal flu. Even if it was the same as the flu, we should not just stand by idly and add another virus to the general population if there is a possible way to prevent it. Due to so much ignorance and claims to freedom, it is clear that people have so much distrust for their leaders, and the experts out there. Not everything is a conspiracy.
Whatever this is has already been added to the general population - it cannot be stopped in isolation using any of the commonly available methods. I am highly sceptical of it's origins and wary of it's long term effects - however, we cannot hide from it successfully.
Covid19 is showing up the real health issues: diabetes, obesity, poor health in old age, people who have shitty circulation cos they never exercise, compromised immune systems etc.... No amount of staying home gonna fix any of those. Here in Thailand, without bailouts and where whole families live in tiny rooms with no fridge or budget to stockpile, it is a catastrophe.
We need to accept personal responsibility for our health (or lack thereof), deal with natural immunity and open the cage doors.
Agreed 100%. The world cannot be forced to move at the pace of the most injured. We all need to do our best to help everyone heal, balance and evolve. <3
I think what I'm seeing is that there's a LARGE CHUNK of western society that could now be defined as "the most injured" and will be left behind. Collectively, we are not well. Evolve may well be one of my favourite words.
Now that's a doctor. I am not one but, I've been saying for weeks that this lock down has no reasoning and that too few are actually talking about strengthening our immune system and too many are just repeating the social distancing and stay at home narrative. You simply can't have a strong immune system without the sun, physical exercises and vitamins. Instead we have masks, permissions to go out, fake reports and a lot of fear. Sad to see what's happening on the planet right now.
