A strange sounding title! Don't you worry... follow me to the next part of my post for details!
I had such a nice turnout on my last contest, that I thought I would start another one. But... not just "any" contest. Oh no... you all know how I am! I had something... "different", in mind.
Much like my #thoughtfuldailypost movement, I had a specific idea in mind this time. Thinking about this contest, made me think about memories of my family getting together for holiday meals. There are memories in this, and I want to see all those memories you have!
The Contest!!
Rather than just sharing a recipe with your readers, with photos and ingredients being listed, I want to hear (see) the story behind the recipe! Like my image above states... "Satisfying the heart as well as the appetite".
Rules... because we gotta have them!

Just like my last contest, I request the following, please:
1: Provide your recipe with your post...
2: It would be appreciated if posts in Spanish were also in English, please...
3: Show me at least three photos of you making your awesome recipe...
4: If you use photos that aren't yours... provide proper sources for the images...
5: Please make sure you use at least 300 words...
6: Use "Cooking Memories: The Terminal Redfish Contest", for your main title...

Remember I said rather than your "usual" contest... I was thinking something a little more? Here is where I'd like to see the story behind the story! The proof in that pudding! Okay, enough with the puns Wes! We've got Father's Day coming up... maybe you had a memory that's tied to your recipe? Show me that memory! Let's Cook Those Memories!

Understand... actually even edited the rules after thinking about that very topic. Look at the entry by @victoriaxl... I don't want selfies, just photos of meal preparation to prove you made it 🙂
Thanks for understanding. I took a look at @vitoriaxl's post, thanks for the suggestion. I'll see if there's something suitable I can put together. It's become hard to get many ingredients for my recipes, due to the extreme restrictions here for months. I haven't been cooking very much for that reason, just very basic things that anyone could make.
Basic from the heart, is not basic, to me. No worries my friend...

Wow how interesting, so many memories come to mind. My father is very careful in the kitchen and it would be complicated to make some of his recipes for me. Although there must be a simple one that I can make.
