Fascinating Insects: Dragonfly Series

in Fascinating Insects4 years ago (edited)

Dragonfly (Anisoptera) is identified by having long bodies, two narrow pairs of intricately veine and transparent membrous wings that have coloured markings that spread horizontally. They have huge bulging eyes that place on the head which allow them to have great vision approaching 360 degrees. What an incredible insect! So what I was unable to leave behind was the red one whose color tempted me so badly. These followings pics were discovered in different spots and I decided to include them in my dragonfly series.
