Robber Fly: The Assassin

There are many species of insects in the order Diptera, but what I love most among them is the Asilidae family. The robber fly, unlike other species of flies, symbolizes prowess with its muscular and mighty build.

As it perches on a twig, I can tell you that he doesn't look like a fly at all, but as a murderous monster. Yup, indeed the fact is, the robber fly is not an ordinary fly, it is an assassin insect.
