Some arthropods, which are very big in tropical countries, for example centipedes, are living here, too, but as much smaller versions. :)

So! Very interesting! How could they walk all the way from Asia or Africa to your country?! I wonder! LoL
They reproduced over many, many generations and reached more and more places, while within the process of evolution adapting to the reigning conditions of the different habitats the earth has to offer.
