Hi all... How are you today? Of course very fine

On this occasion, I will share some very impressed pictures, which occurred precisely in front of our house, the impression is that a dragonfly flies at night and then perches on one of our flower plants

Entomologists say they are scientifically known as "Urothemis signata" and there are also mentions of "Crimson Glider," as far as I know, they have a larger body posture, when compared to other species, zoologists further include them in species in the family Libellulidae.

This species, often dominates coastal areas that have several plants around it, standing water, either flowing or stagnant in a small container resulting from natural creations naturally.

Having transparent wings with a size larger than its body, becoming a dashing appearance when flying and perching on any plant it wants, I wonder why it comes from afar and perches on ornamental plants at night, dragonflies generally don't move at night. This is based on a number of experiences while observing it. In the afternoon or late at night, each dragonfly will look for a public place or a routine area to sit back and rest at night.

As previously stated, I was very impressed with them and their unusual behavior. At first I saw him flying around the roof of the house and then slowly he went down looking for a lamp, when his body approached a front yard lighting with a very close size, then suddenly he was shocked and fell to the floor. Maybe this is influenced by the heat of the light that comes from the bulb itself.

Even though his body fell to the floor, the figure was still strong and unharmed and unharmed, this could be seen from the way he got up and his body was still intact, and once he tried to fly back, strangely, even though there was a hot aura, this figure was still trying, to get up and continue to approach the light bulb that is burning brightly. The dragonfly made its third attempt, it kept trying, but couldn't find a footing, so it instinctively abandoned the attempt and looked for a suitable place to roost and rest at night.

Finally he got a foothold in the form of a series of ornamental plants that were in bloom, but still at the same point, still in the same area. So at that time, I myself had the opportunity to capture it in the form of a moment in a macro photography frame.

On a closer look, I can only confirm that, seeing a dragonfly that is very tired on its flight, it may have come from far away, or on its way into the night so it will look for a suitable location to rest, while gathering energy for tomorrow. So that they can continue their routine activities like the days gone by.

His goal, accomplished tonight, he managed to get his place, in one of the ornamental plants that grow and thrive in the front yard of the house. If he is here, of course, it will be safe and no one will disturb him, because I will guard him from any unwanted things.

I will ignore it here, in the sense that I agree that it dominates our territory, it will rest comfortably because in this front yard, it is very safe for all animals including this dragonfly.

There are no predators at night, especially in this new area, because so far we rarely see insects that come and dominate this area. If during the day our ornamental flowers are often visited by different butterflies but only briefly, while the predators who often hunt insects, are not seen at all. So thus I say he will be safe until tomorrow morning.

Until the morning, the dragonfly was still seen standing still in the same location, but he had moved to another point but was still in the same area.

And, in the end he flew away, after being startled by the noise of children playing near our flower. Hopefully he will find his destination in a fixed and suitable location.
