I'm a bit behind on Phillies games right now but no biggie just gonna jump right into it here.

Yesterday Phillies ace Zack Wheeler had plenty of run support as the Phillies went on a serious hit parade. Whole team was just on FIRE it seems. When you win 16-2, there's really nothing to complain about. Kyle Schwarber and Trea Turner produced six R.B.I's at the top of the order, both had a homerun a piece. SEVEN different Phillies had multiple hits, four of those players had three!

The Marlins got a bit of payback against the Phillies today though and the the Phillies fell 9-5. Aaron Nola had himself a rare tough outing and couldn't even last five innings. Scoring five runs is usually solid, so today's game falls on poor pitching. The bullpen and defense allowed five runs by themselves so yeah, not great.

No too worried overall, I think the team is still looking pretty good right about now.

Tomorrow the Phillies play at 1:40 on the official first NFL Sunday of the season so yeah there's definitely not going to be a ton of viewers. Nevertheless I will try to watch the Phillies and Titans at the same time, honestly, I think it will be great fun. September and October are the best.

Soon, the Sixers will be playing!

GO PHILS!!
