I'm glad I kept my stakes to a minimum in the cup as I didn't have any success betting it which is now turning into something of a tradition. Now there is the last week in the Belgian League before the World Cup break and I'm looking forward with some bets already.

OH Leuven vs Seraing


OH Leuven took a great start but basically underperformed afterward. Last week they played a poor 1st half but a better 2nd half away against Cercle losing 2-1. In the cup, some players with minor injuries got rested still getting them an easy 0-5 away win against an amateur team. Seraing managed to qualify in the cup after extra time against Charleroi and played a surprisingly good match in the league against Stvv despite having to play with a nearly full b-squad. Thei ended up narrowly losing that match and should have more players available this week. Seraing so far disappointed at home but they have been reasonable at home beating the Asian handicap going 5.5W-2L-0.5P against their Asian closing lines, Leuven at home on the other hand is 1.5W-3L-2.5P. Also in the previous 5 matches of Seraing they had 4 losses and a draw but none were by 2 or more goals. Seraing in away games has scored a lot but they had a crazy finishing percentage. I just have to see OHL as a slightly overrated team and Seraing as a slightly underrated team. OHL is also the worst home 1st half team in the league only taking 4 points in 7 matches. I did take 0.1 unit each on Seraing +1 @ 1.884 / Seraing 1st Half +0.5 @ 1.759 / Seraing +2 Corners @ 1.950. OHL never managed to win the corners by 2 or more at home. I also can't say I'm overly confident in this match so I will see how things play out as the match moves on
