Westerlo vs Oostende
Oostende in the first match under their new coach put up an encouraging performance winning 3-1 against Kortrijk who took a red card in the first half and are generally not the best team. I don't see them as a team that should get in trouble but also not more than that. Them rotated some players in the cup match giving some that had minor injuries rest and still easily won against an amateur team. Westerlo also rested a couple of the older players in the cup match and quickly got 0-1 behind after wich it was a non-match. Last week in the league they played against Union taking home a point despite the fact that Union was the better team overall in that match. The market seems to have a pretty good view on this match with Westerlo as the deserved favorite. The only bet I'm leaning toward is an over in corners as Oostende was already an over corner team and their new coach when he took over last time in Cercle also went on a streak of matches with quite some corners. I will be waiting in-game to potentially take a small bet if the odds go up quickly in the first minutes. I'm also leaning toward Oostende Team Total Over as they scored twice in each of their last 3 games while Westerlo is not really the team that keeps many clean sheets. For now,

Zulte-Waregem vs Eupen
This is a classic match between 2 opponents that are direct competitors for relegation. Zulte-Waregem now is 17th with 12 points while Eupen is 15th with 15 points. Both teams are similar as they mix performances that actually are ok with moments where they are absolutely nowhere. Eupen had that in their last away game in the 1st half against Anderlecht while Zulte only took 1 point in the last 3 games after a somewhat better period before where they won 2 matches. Both rotated in their cup matches putting the priority on the weekend. Zulte-Waregem came out better qualifying against Lommel while Eupen lost against Deinze. Based on what I have seen from these teams, I give the slight edge to the home team. They have also been ok in their 1st halves not having lost in the last 4 at home while Eupen ranks near the bottom not having a single 1H win yet this season. This made me take 0.2 units on
Zulte-Waregem 1st Half +0 @ 1.845. If Zulte-Waregem lose this match, it will likely be the end of Leye as a coach so nerves will be high.
Sint-Truiden vs Cercle Brugge
Cercle Brugge did go on a solid streak after their coach change all against weaker opponents climbing to 10th just below Stvv with 1 point less. I think both teams right now are around the spot where they are supposed to be. Stvv generally in an under team who have the defense straight but at the same time have a hard time to score.Cercle mostly has games with many goals in their home matches. The lines feel pretty sharp on this match with the home team as the slight favorite and no expectation of a goal fest with a 2.25 line. The only lean I have is Cercle +1 corners but I haven't pulled the trigger yet.

Charleroi vs Mechelen
Charleroi hasn't really been able to pick up their form after their coach was fired and I rank them among the teams with the worst form right now. Mechelen on the other hand really turned things around under their new coach Defour and increased their average performance by a lot also now bringing the needed drive. This however remains a tricky match as Charleroi very well might play their old counter-style game which is how they somehow won in their last home match against Antwerp despite not playing good. Mechelen played their A-Squad in the cup easily winning with 0-5 which I believe will have given them more confidence, Charleroi on the other hand got eliminated by Seraing. I took a 0.6 unit pre-game bet on
Kv Mechelen +0.25 @ 1.936 and also added a 10000 WGR crypto bet on Mechelen +0.25 @ 1.91 over at
Wagerr.com. I'm also leaning toward taking a small bet on Mechelen + corners handicap and a possible over corner bet as under their new coach they average 14+ corners on average.
