The small losses continue to add up with another one yesterday as Eupen failed to score despite getting 3 really good chances quite early on in the match. 8 more matches to go this week so there should be more betting opportunities to get into even though I will again keep very high caution. I am considering a bigger bet on Anderlecht vs Club Brugge for tomorrow but I'm still looking deeper into it at the moment. Cercle Brugge vs Oud-Heverlee Leuven
Cercle Brugge took a much-needed win against a very poor Beerschot last week putting them now 1 and 4 points above a potential relegation spot with 2 more matches to be played. They are against Leuven who are still in the fight for Playoff 2 and Oostende who are still in the fight for Playoff 1 so it will be a challenge. A point certainly would not be the worst results as Moeskroen who are 1 point behind (with fewer wins) still play against Antwerp and Club Brugge. The style of play from Cercle lately has been all focus on defense and I don't expect this to change today. OHL disappointed last week especially in the 1st half where Genk was all over them, They played better in the 2nd half and scored the 1-1 but still ended up losing with a 2-3 score and are now 2 on 9 in their last 3 matches with all of those seeing at least 4 goals. The question also remains how motivate OHL is to play playoff 2. My lean is on OHL as the +0.5 underdog but I'm not willing to take a gamble and oppose a team in full relegation fight that won their last 2 home matches. I will beep all betting action for in-game when I have more info on how the teams are performing.
No Pre-Game Bets
KV Mechelen vs Zulte-Waregem
Zulte-Waregem is 8th in the league fighting for a playoff 2 spot while Mechelen is 4 points behind and a 6 on 6 likely not being enough to make it. They played a poor 1st half last week against Stvv who scored at 200% and had the initiative in the 2nd half without creating all too much. Zulte-Waregem played an open match against Eupen and once again needed to be woken up by getting a goal behind. They played a much better 2nd half scoring 1-1 in minute 60 to see Eupen getting a red card scoring 2-1 right after. This likely will be the last home match for Defour who will end his career while Mechelen are still without important player Van Damme. Mechelen has been a solid 1st half team especially at home and I would not be surprised for them to take charge early on with Zulte once again needing a wake-up call. An open entertaining match can be expected which also shows in the Over 3.25 line. I would take a gamble on Zulte-Waregem pre-game as the big underdog if it wasn't for the expectation of them having a better start. If they are better and fail to take the lead with the odds not moving or when if they do manage to score, I might consider a live bet on the visitors. The current odds don't give much to play with for me.

AA Gent vs Charleroi
AA Gent played a match against Standard last week where both teams were unwilling to take risks until the 0-1 came on a penalty. Standard ended wining with 2-1 but it could have been the other way around as AA Gent failed to use the pace they were getting. Overall, AA Gent has failed to impress, both Kums & Ngadeu will be suspended and there is no guarantee that they will play a good match today. Charleroi also is in a bad streak having failed to win in their last 7 starts with 5 of those ending in a draw. They are without Morioka who is their main creative midfielder. Charleroi has a pattern of being a much better 2nd half team. Both only have 1 option which is to take the win so on paper it should be an open match (at least at some point in the match). The only bet that slightly tempts me is AA Gent 1H -0.25 @ 1.877 but I will wait it out and see how it goes before potentially getting in. The late over in case the score is at a draw is also an option.
