Asia's most prestigious tournament Asia Cup-2022 is underway. It's also popularly known as Asia's world cup. The tournament has nearly come to an end with some exciting matches. After the remaining two matches there will be an end of this tournament. Pakistan and Sri Lanka will play in the final match of the Super Four today. But the most surprising thing is that both these teams have made it to the Megha finals of this year's Asia Cup. Today's match is just like a practice match for them which have no value. Pakistan and Sri Lanka will battle for supremacy on Sunday.

This year's Asia Cup has given several exciting matches. Especially the India vs Pakistan match was most enjoyable. India won the first match of two dramatic matches. Hardik Pandya is the hero of India's victory in this match. This pace bowling all-rounder has spread light both with bat and ball.
However, in the second match, Pakistan avenged the loss in the first match. Mohammad Nawaz is the hero of Pakistan's victory in this match. Almost every match was exciting like the India-Pakistan match. The fans had to wait till the last over of the match for their favorite team to win. At the end of the match, some left the field with the joy of victory and some were disappointed.
The biggest surprise in Asia this year was Sri Lanka's turnaround. The Sri Lankan team lost badly against Afghanistan in the first match. While batting first, Sri Lanka was bowled out for just 100 runs. On the contrary, the Afghan batters chased that run in just 10 overs and won. No one could have thought that Sri Lanka would play the final after such a loss. But they made a royal comeback. They are now finalists after defeating a team like India.
In the beginning, it seemed difficult for Sri Lanka to qualify for the group stage. After losing against Afghanistan, they had no choice but to win against Bangladesh. At that time they won against Bangladesh by chasing a record amount of runs. Then in round four, the cricket world saw a new Sri Lankan. After defeating Afghanistan in the first match of round four, Sri Lanka became the first team to enter the final after defeating hot favorites India in the second match.
Pakistan's team has also performed well in this year's Asia Cup. Although they lost against India in the first appearance, they won all the remaining matches. However, they almost lost against Afghanistan in the final confirmation match. But bowler Naseem Shah's incredible two huge sixes secured the final with four balls in hand. Pakistan this win confirmed India's leaves.
After two long years, these two teams have made it to the Asia Cup final. The last two finals were played by Bangladesh and India. However, Indians have won both. Hopefully, Pakistan or Sri Lanka will emerge victorious in Asia with a competitive match in the final. I think Pakistan is the favorite for the final, It's just my opinion.

Pakistan has better ability to turn the match equations in their favour with the world class bowling attack, and couple of sharp batters in the bag. I would want Pakistan to win this edition.

I also want to see Pakistan as a champion. But Sri Lanka has equal chance of winning.
Practice matches still are important even if the result doesn't really matter. India may look strong on paper, but they rely too heavily on one or two players. Bangladesh seem to be going backwards after they hit the international scene years ago.
India's failure is bit of surprise for me. But Sri Lanka did very well after the huge defeat in first match & it's unbelievable 😃
