Hoy domingo 22 de mayo en horas de la mañana vio nuevamente acción la pelota villacurana en la continuación de los estadales; juegos preparatorios que buscan aumentar el nivel de preparación entre equipos seleccionados a los campeonatos nacionales en las diferentes categorías y disciplinas de este gran deporte como lo es el Béisbol. Acercándonos nuevamente al estadio Ramón María Acosta a pocos minutos de la voz de "Play Ball" tuvimos la dicha y el honor de entrevistar a quien fuera uno de los pitchers de la franquicia Tiburones de la Guaira del beísbol profesional de Venezuela el siglo pasado y que hoy dirige orgullosamente a el club COMPOTICAS de Villa de Cura en la categoría Pre-Infantil. Se trata nada más y nada menos del pelotero y manager Willy Flores.
Today, Sunday May 22nd in the morning hours, the Villacurán baseball saw action again in the continuation of the Estadales, preparatory games that seek to increase the level of preparation among selected teams for the national championships in the different categories and disciplines of this great sport such as baseball. Approaching again to the Ramon Maria Acosta stadium a few minutes from the voice of "Play Ball" we had the joy and honor of interviewing one of the pitchers of the franchise Tiburones de la Guaira last century and who today proudly directs the club COMPOTICAS of Villa de Cura in the Pre-Children's category. He is nothing more and nothing less than Willy Flores.
Comenzamos abordando al Profe Willy Flores con un cordial saludo y explicándole la naturaleza de la entrevista donde le explicamos que nuestra intención era realizar notas deportivas sobre el acontecer local donde pocos medios de comunicación llegan y realizan las respectivas reseñas y que este trabajo sería presentado en la plataforma #hive y en la comunidad @fulldeportes que aunque desconocía de la existencia de estas "redes sociales" luego se mostró muy interesado y comenzó la conversa amable dentro del campo de juego.
1era. pregunta. ¿ Cuales y cuantos encuentros tendríamos hoy en el Estadio y en que categorías ?
We began by approaching Prof. Willy Flores with a cordial greeting and explaining the nature of the interview where we explained that our intention was to make sports notes on local events where few media outlets arrive and make the respective reviews and that this work would be presented on the #hive platform and in the @fulldeportes community that although he was unaware of the existence of these "social networks" then he was very interested and began the friendly conversation within the field of play.

Saludos, gracias por la oportunidad de esta pequeña entrevista ofrecida por ustedes y bueno hoy domingo tendremos a partir de las 11:00 de la mañana tres encuentros preparatorio dentro del campeonato Estadal con mira a los nacionales. A primera hora jugaran los equipos COMPOTICAS el cual esta bajo mi dirección contra el equipo BUFALOS A en la categoría de Pre- infantil, todos los juegos a 7 innigs de duración.
Prof. Willy:
Greetings, thanks for the opportunity of this little interview offered by you and well today Sunday we will have from 11:00 in the morning three preparatory games within the State championship with a view to the nationals. First of all, the COMPOTICAS team, which is under my direction, will play against the BUFALOS A team in the Pre-children's category, all games will last 7 innings.
Luego que el profe nos explicara un poco el itinerario deportivo del día y a pocos minutos de iniciar el primer encuentro le realizamos la siguiente pregunta que aborda tanto lo deportivo como lo personal
2da. Pregunta: ¿ Cómo va el campeonato y que retos le supone la dirigencia de este club siendo Ud. una figura y referencia de la pelota venezolana ?
After the teacher explained to us a little of the sporting itinerary of the day and a few minutes before the start of the first game, we asked him the following question that addresses both the sporting and personal aspects of the game
2nd. Question: How is the championship going and what challenges does the management of this club pose to you, being you a figure and reference of the Venezuelan baseball?
Profe Willy:
El campeonato se ha desarrollado a pesar de la pandemia con total normalidad, con muy pocos contratiempos y la practica de los muchachos ha sido continua y sostenida en cada uno de los escenarios deportivos conque cuenta nuestro Municipio Zamora; en lo particular para mi es de sumo agrado y orgullo al mismo tiempo tener la oportunidad de dirigir a este grupo de jóvenes peloteros que al igual que yo en mi época tienen las mismas expectativas, esperanzas e ilusiones de llegar algún día a profesionales y a colocar el nombre de su bandera en lo más alto.
Profe Willy:
The championship has developed in spite of the pandemic with total normality, with very few setbacks and the practice of the boys has been continuous and sustained in each of the sports scenarios that our Municipality Zamora has; in particular for me it is of great pleasure and pride at the same time to have the opportunity to direct this group of young ball players that like me in my time have the same expectations, hopes and illusions of someday reaching professionals and to place the name of their flag at the top.
Un mensaje final para toda la juventud que nos lee profe?
Profe Willy:
Que practiquen mucho deporte y se mantengan alejado de las drogas, la vagancia y la prostitución. Sigan el ejemplo de este grupo de jóvenes que sueñan con un mejor mañana para sus familias y su país y seguramente con mucho trabajo, disciplina y dedicación verán tarde o temprano el fruto de sus esfuerzos. Gracias profe, por la entrevista y sigan realizando este bonito trabajo por la promoción y difusión del deporte local en nuestra ciudad.
A final message to all the youth who read us profe?
Profe Willy:
That they practice a lot of sports and stay away from drugs, vagrancy and prostitution. Follow the example of this group of young people who dream of a better tomorrow for their families and their country and surely with hard work, discipline and dedication they will see sooner or later the fruit of their efforts.
