Do not underestimate us.
Chelsea FC will be Real Madrid's opponent in the semifinals of the European Champions League, the Blue team is one of the least favorite to win the trophy (which endangers its continuity), as it has been a constant since Roman Abramovich took the reins of the Londoners.
The fan base in at least Latin America, from where I can give my opinion, is already used to the fact that the Stamford Bridge team is underestimated, that they are labeled as a team with no tradition or future, and that the media does not give them the recognition that Chelsea's youngsters deserve.
In the knockout rounds, they usually talk about the mistakes that their opponents usually make and do not talk about the virtues and effectiveness that the boys usually have against such tough and experienced opponents as they usually find in the Champions League.
After Real Madrid qualified and knew they were Chelsea's rival, the media did not take long to expose their characteristic old-world arrogance, and they are already taking for granted that Real Madrid will be in the Champions League final. Many times I laugh and feel nauseated at the same time by the traditional media.
The team from the Spanish capital is every year a candidate to lift the "orejona", because this is their tournament and they know how to play it and also they usually get a little help from the referees, as it is common knowledge that referees usually help the big and powerful teams.
Why can't Chelsea be underestimated?
First of all because the games have to be played and you can't claim victory before time, maybe the Spanish media want to make psychological warfare to the Blue team, but I think that's not the way.
Secondly, because of the impressive numbers of the German Tomas Tuchel, and since his arrival in January in England, both coach and the Blue team have had an unlikely resurgence, because a year in which everything seemed lost, Chelsea is fighting for fourth place in the domestic league, is in the final of the FA Cup and in the semifinals of the Champions League.
All thanks to the 12 wins in 18 games that Tuchel has managed, the 4 draws and the only two defeats he has had since he took over, one after a FIFA date and the other in a play-off when it was sentenced and only by a stroke of genius on the hour. 25 goals for, 9 against, 13 clean sheets and no goals allowed by the top teams he has faced. The numbers are there and they are cold.
Real Madrid will be a different level of opponent from Chelsea's usual Premier League opponents, especially in the Champions League even if the top Champions League winners are not at their best.
Yes, maybe Madrid is the favorite to win this tie for many reasons (history, team, tradition, infrastructure) but never give up for dead the London lion, because it is ready to roar once again as in 2012.

El Chelsea fc será el rival del real Madrid en las semifinales de la Liga de Campeones de Europa, el conjunto Blue es de los menos favoritos para ganar el trofeo (que de paso peligra su continuidad), como ya es una constante desde que Roman Abramovich tomara las riendas de los londinenses.
La base de fans de al menos Latinoamérica, lugar desde donde puedo opinar, ya está acostumbrada a que se menosprecie a los de Stamford Bridge, y se les catalogue como un equipo sin tradición ni futuro, y que en los medios de comunicación no se les del reconocimiento que los jóvenes del Chelsea se merecen.
En las eliminatorias suelen hablar de los errores que suelen cometer los rivales del turno y no hablar de las virtudes y eficacia que los chicos suelen tener contra rivales tan duros y experimentados como suelen encontrarse en la Champions.
Tras clasificar el Real Madrid y saberse rival del Chelsea, los medios de comunicación, no tardaron en exponer su prepotencia característica del viejo mundo, y desde ya dan por hecho que el Real Madrid estará en la final de la Champions. Muchas veces me dan risa y nauseas al mismo tiempo los medios de comunicación tradicionales.
El de la capital española es cada año un candidato a levantar la “orejona”, pues este es su torneo y saben cómo jugarlo y además suelen recibir un poco de ayuda de los árbitros, pues es de conocimiento público que los árbitros suelen ayudar a los equipos grandes y poderosos.
¿Por qué no se puede menospreciar al Chelsea?
En primer lugar porque los partidos hay que jugarlos y no se puede cantar victoria antes de tiempo, quizás los medios de comunicación españoles quieran hacer la guerra psicológica al equipo Blue, pero creo que esa no es la forma.
En segundo lugar, por los impresionantes números del alemán Tomas Tuchel, y es que desde la llegada en enero a Inglaterra, tanto entrenador como el equipo Blue han tenido un resurgimiento poco probable, pues un año en el que ya parecía todo perdido el Chelsea está peleando el cuarto lugar de la liga domestica está en la final de la FA cup y en semifinales de Champions.
Todo gracias a las 12 victorias en 18 juegos que ha dirigido Tuchel, a los 4 empates y las únicas dos derrotas que ha tenido desde que asumió el mando, una después de una fecha FIFA y otra en una eliminatoria en la estaba sentenciada y únicamente por una genialidad sobre la hora. 25 goles a favor 9 en contra, 13 porterías a cero además de no haber permitido ningún gol de los equipo Top a los que ha enfrentado. Los números ahí están y son fríos.
El Real Madrid será otro nivel de rival de los que acostumbra tener Chelsea en la Premier League, sobre todo en la Champions aun y cuando el máximo ganador de Champions League no pase su mejor momento.
Sí, quizás el Madrid sea favorito para ganar esta eliminatoria por muchas cuestiones (historia, equipo, tradición, infraestructura) pero nunca den por muerto al león londinense, porque está listo para rugir una vez más como en aquel 2012.
