The league season is coming to an end in Europe top five leagues and that includes the leagues at England, Spain, France, Italy and Germany. With most teams having less than 10 games to play for as the season slowly comes to an end, it's noteworthy to analysis the teams that are most likely to win the league. ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE
Manchester leads the pack with a whopping 14 points having played a game more than the four-team which follows in the league standing. Manchester City has 8 games to play for in the league and they only need to win 5 of the games to be automatically confirmed as champions. With Manchester united closely following behind with a 14-point deficit, catching up to Manchester city is something difficult. Mathematically, they could still win the league by winning if they claim 15 points more and hope man city lost the rest of their game.
Leicester closely following Manchester United are only a point behind and will need 17 points to claim the league for itself. Although that will require Manchester City and Manchester United to lose the rest of the matches for the season. This calculation shows that although Man City are likely to win, other teams still have a chance at a shot at the title if they slip up. For now, Manchester City is the clear favorite after starting the season on a slow note. The likes of Chelsea, Westham and Liverpool are also in the race but will need a drastic loose of form from the teams above in order to have a shot at the Crown.
SPANISH LA LIGA
Atletico Madrid might have dumped out of the champions league, but they still have a chance of winning the league come May. Although they have lost lots of ground has, they are topping the league with a 10-point gap in January, but they have lost form and gotten an unfavourable result. Their closest rival now is Real Madrid who has played a game more and they ATM lead them by 3 points. Atletico needs to win a minimum of 31 points from the available 33 points to be confirmed as champions regardless of whatever happens to title rivals.
Real Madrid which occupies the second position needs a maximum point of the 30 available and with the hope that Atletico Madrid and Barcelona drop points in more than more games. That will see them as champion. Barcelona on the other needs also to claim maximum points left and hope that both title rivals such as the two Madrid teams also lose points in more than two games. While winning the league rests on the shoulders of Atletico Madrid, the rest of the teams still needs results to go bad for their rivals in order to claim the league. Teams such as Sevilla, Real Sociedad and Real Betis are still in the league running too and mathematically has a shot at claiming the league to itself but realistically, it seems unrealizable.
ITALIAN SERIE A
Inter Milan tops the table with a whopping nine points and the next on the table is surprising not Juventus. Ac Milan comes next on the table with 56 points. Both Inter Milan and Ac Milan have played a game more than Juventus who are currently on 55 points. The league is currently up to inter Milan for the taking and with 11 games left to play for, taking maximum points from 9 of the 11 games will them been crowned champions regardless of results elsewhere. Ac Milan also has a shot if they could win the rest of the matches left and hope Inter Milan lost three points in 4 of their 11 games while also hoping Juventus losses in the rest of their matches.
While Inter Milan remains the only team with which other match results does not define their hopes and chances of winning that league in as much as they win their matches, other teams’ chance of winning the league lies on the match results of other teams. Juventus needs to take a maximum point from the rest of their league matches while hoping that the two Milan’s teams lost in at least three league matches. The likes of Napoli, Atalanta and Roma are also still in the race but realistically, they stand no chance of winning. For now, the league remains Inter Milan own for the taking
GERMAN BUNDESLIGA
Bayern Munich are clear favourites to retain the title they have won for the part five years on a stretch and having four point more than their closest rival is surely an indicator that this will theirs. With just eight games left, Bayern Munich needs to win seven of the matches to be crowned champions. The results of other matches within this period would count for less as the league title is theirs for the taking.
Surprisingly, Dortmund is not their key rival in pursuit of the title as they current rank 5th on the league table. Dortmund might be a beast in Europe but domestically they have been a mouse and they trail the league leaders with 18 points. They need to win all the matches left and hope Bayern takes one point from the rest of the 8 games it has left to play.
The closest rival to Bayern is RB leipzig and for them to win the title, they need to take win all the rest of their league games and hope that bayern lost in two of the 8 games remaining. The likes of wolfburger and Eintracht still have a shot going by the maths calculation and assumptions but in reality, they stand no chance just like Dortmund
FRENCH LEAGUE 1
Trouble at paradise for PSG has they may not win this year league title. They are currently second on the league table with nine games to go as the season draws near to a close. They trail by three points to surprise league leader "lille". I order to psg to win the league at the moment, they should hope that Lille looses at least one match and they still have the hard job of winning all their own matches too. They currently have a superior goal difference to lille.
Lille on the other hands needs to win claim 25 points from the available 27 points in order to claim the league title for the first time in decades. While lying shares the same point with PSG, they will need to win all their matches too and hope that psg and lille drops points along the way. Monaco is the next realistic contender as both PSG and Lyon tops them with just a point while lille gaps them with four points. Wining all their next nine matches while hoping the rest of the league drops point's in at least two games will make them become champions.

I Think this year, Inter will be the Champion in the Serie A, Juventus are so far of it best version and AC Milan just stop to being the undefeatable team... England, France and Germany are sentenced but in Spain are the real contest this year, Atletico de Madrid, Real Madrid and Barcelona will fight till the end for the trophy
