What a game last night! As I predicted, Villarreal came out all guns blazing and after just 3 minutes took the lead before going into the break 2-0 up with a shell-shocked Liverpool needing that half-time orange and cup of tea!

After regrouping they came out as the Liverpool we all know and absolutely got it together, putting three past a tired looking Villarreal who seemed to have burnt themselves out with their first-half efforts.

Much as I dislike Jurgen Klopp, I can't help but be impressed by his managerial nous and heaven knows what he said to them at half-time but it was an incredible turnaround.

I genuinely like Liverpool and hope they go on to make history with the quadruple and that's another step on that road. We'll have a look at how you guys did at the end as usual, but for now, let's have a look at the other semi-final...

The first game was a thriller and finished 4-3 to City. I'm not sure about away goals but with the tie being so close, it could be important. However, City still are in front but tonight is going to be tough in front of a baying Bernabeu crowd.

Real have just won La Liga after a thumping 4-0 win over Espanyol and with their domestic season over, will be fully focused on this massive tie in which they will need to turn around the one-goal deficit.

Although Johns Stones is injured, Cancelo is in and Kyle Walker has been training hard after missing 5 games through injury, whether he plays or not however in such an important tie after a long absence is debatable.

For Real, they are without defender Alaba but see the return of Casemiro to the midfield.

This is going to be one hell of a game played at high speed, no holds barred!
