Brentford's project seems like it will take longer than the rest. The four I mentioned seem to be inching much closer.

Newcastle is a complicated one, when City or Chelsea were purchased the PL had barely a top 4, now it is closer to a top 8. Their purchase might accelerate the process, but at this moment their project isn't even as good as Brentford's, who I see closer to the top than Newcastle as a project even with Newcastle's money.

That is a good point. Chelsea and Man City were pioneers of the 'money model' whereas it's a bit of a different landscape.

Brentford may take longer you're right. They do have a bit more money to play around with now so there baseline of available player now goes up too. A hidden $5m gem could be the next Messi, whereas the hidden $500k gem might be the next Vardy
