Manchester United are believed to be in the race to sign Kieran Trippier on a permanent deal when the transfer window opens. Despite having Timothy Mensah and Brandon Williams on their books, the red devils are looking to provide a stiffer competition for first choice right back Aaron Wan Bissaka.
Kieran Trippier who moved from Spurs to Athletico Madrid in the summer of 2019 have struggled for consistency since his move to the spanish capital. Injuries have also deterred the thirty year old from hitting the heights he hit at Spurs before moving.
If united are able to get their target, he is believed to be the ideal back up option to Aaron Bissaka who has made the right back position at United his own since moving from Crystal palace.
