Spain got within 88-87 points before Slovenia #7 Klemen Prepelic hit two free throws with 13 seconds left to give Slovenia a 90-87 advantage.

Before Slovenia won, Spain #9 Ricky Rubio of Spain missed a 3-pointer. Rubio led the squad in scoring with 18 points. 14 points were added by Spain #20 Alberto Abalde.
