He was forced to fight some bizarre clauses that Bartomeu and the other members of his committee had established for the players. And he was forced to deal with problems regarding players salary cap. The salary cap for the players at FC Barcelona was almost highest to that of the players of the other clubs. And there was a financial burden as well. Therefore, it was impossible for Joan Laporta to make a comeback from that situation because of the circumstances.
But as more time goes by, Laporta is gradually making progress in overcoming those difficulties. He has already found solutions to the economic issues. Laporta's board cut a few players' salaries and decided not to sign new contracts with some of our players also sent some of the players to other clubs. Now, the most important thing for him to do is find a few players for Xavi so that Xavi can continue working on his project. Even though Xavi had already expressed interest in a few players, it is extremely important to me that FC Barcelona sign Kounde as soon as they possibly can. Barca is in need of a central defender who is able to play quickly and is also agile.
Due to the fact that Dembele declined to sign the new contract, it is possible that Xavi will use Raphinha as a replacement for Dembouz. However, I believe that it is more important to sign Lewandoski than it is to sign Raphinha. After Messi left the club, Barcelona hasn't been able to find a replacement who can consistently score goals. On top of that, Lewandoski had already expressed a desire to play for FC Barcelona. So it's now essential that Laporta and his team bring Lewandoski to the club.
There were a few news stories that I saw about De Jong. A significant number of journalists have already stated that the transfer of De Jong to Manchester United is already finalized. To tell you the truth, that made me sad. Frenkie is one of the players I enjoy watching the most of all time. The fact that he is unable to contribute one hundred percent while playing for FC Barcelona is not really his fault. I will place the blame on the coach that he was playing for at the time. Because Frenkie's game while playing for Barcelona is completely different from his game while playing for the Netherlands. And the reason for this is that Frenkie is able to play in the position that best suits him in the Netherlands. I hope Xavi will try to play him as a CDM instead of Busquets.
