I don't know about KC. That city is kind of stretched to the limit as far as sport franchises are concerned. Plus I can't imagine there being that much interest in hockey in Missouri or Kansas. That being said Florida and Arizona, places that never have ice have done pretty well so I could be wrong about this.

It's plausible; when the Scouts failed there was economic downturn in the Midwest but that's changed a bit since then. I personally think q Canadian team would be up next
