RE: Those England Have A Chance of Winning The World Cup

Southgate is right when he says he is the right man to take them into the tournament, but only because bringing in someone new at this late stage is tantamount to guaranteeing a failure in the group stages.

He has shown, however, that long term he needs to go. What kind of moron brings in players to the squad for Game 1 of a two game set of internationals, sits them on the bench and then sends them home for Game 2. He is blinkered as to many of the players performances on a regular basis, including some who are underperforming at their clubs.

As for the mickey mouse tournament that is the Nations League, I think England have shown their disdain for it by barely trying to compete to win it this time around because of their poorly placed belief that they will be successful at the World Cup. (that will only happen in my view if they take a leaf out of the fabulous Lionesses and play as a team, not a bunch of overpaid, overprivilieged prima ballerina individuals)

I still don't understand what Harry Maguire is doing in that squad, yesterday he cause a penalty for England, and he should not be taken to the world cup. I hope the English media's eyes are open now, the players they praise are nothing but a joke.
