These are the working tools I have at home:
1. 4,2,1,1/2 inch brushes.
2. 4,2 and 1 inch rollers.
3. Roller covers.
4. Trowel.
5. Sandpaper.
6. Gauze mask.
My tools are basic and help a lot when you need to give a touch of love to your house. This time I am going to show you the brushes I use depending on the surface I am going to paint.
I use several brushes to paint the grilles. I recommend the four-inch brush for painting the wider parts of the door. Of course; in this case I am painting a grille and as you can see, it has wide stripes and other very thin ones. For the latter I use a half-inch brush or a two-inch smooth roller.
It is of vital importance that you use the gauze mask to protect yourself from the smell of paint. Particularly that smell makes me dizzy, although it is also difficult to stay several hours with the mask, for safety reasons you have to use it. I recommend a cap if you are painting under the harsh rays of the sun.
Once inside the house, we can dispense with the cap so that we do not get so hot.
Since my house has a lot of railings, it is not easy to do all that work in one day and I must confess that the two-inch smooth roller will make the work of painting railings easier, because when you spread the paint on it you can slide it across the entire railing and thus save time and energy.
As for the trowel, I use it to cover the cracks in the walls with professional paste. After you put the professional paste on the wall with the trowel until it is smooth and when it dries you have to sand it. After that you can paint it.
Friends this is hard work, but it is worth investing in your home, so that you can feel at ease inside your home. No investment you make for the beautification of your home will be in vain; on the contrary, it will bring you well-being and peace of mind. That is priceless.
Feliz noche, amigos de Hive. Los saludo con cariño, deseando con todo mi corazón que se encuentren bien. Por aquí les dejo un resumen de lo que hago, cuando puedo darle un poquito de amor a mi casa. Espero que les guste.
Estas son las herramientas de trabajo que tengo en mi casa:
1. Brochas de 4,2,1,1/2 pulgadas.
2. Rodillos de 4,2 y 1 pulgada.
3. Fundas de rodillo.
4. Palustra.
5. Lija.
6. Mascarilla de gasa.
Mis herramientas son básicas y ayudan muchísimo cuando necesitas darle un toque de cariño a tu casa. En esta oportunidad les voy a mostrar las brochas que utilizo dependiendo la superficie que voy a pintar.
Para pintar las rejas utilizo varias brochas. La brocha de cuatro pulgadas, se las recomiendo para pintar las partes más anchas de la puerta. Claro; en este caso estoy pintando una reja y como pueden apreciar, esta tiene franjas anchas y otras muy delgaditas. Para estas últimas utilizo una brocha de media pulgada o en su defecto un rodillo de dos pulgadas liso.
Es de vital importancia, que utilicen la mascara de gasa para protegerse del olor a pintura. Particularmente ese olor me marea, aunque también es difícil permanecer varias horas con la mascara, por razones de seguridad hay que utilizarla. Les recomiendo una gorra si están pintando bajo los rayos inclementes del sol.
Ya dentro de la casa, podemos prescindir de la gorra para que no nos de tanto calor.
Como en mi casa hay muchas rejas, no es fácil hacer todo ese trabajo en un día y debo confesarles que el rodillo de dos pulgadas liso les facilitará la labor de pintar rejas, porque al untarle la pintura lo puedes deslizar a través de toda la barandita y así ahorras tiempo y energía.
En cuanto a la palustra, la uso para tapar las grietas de las paredes con pasta profesional. Luego que le colocas la pasta profesional le das a la pared con la palustra hasta que quede lisita y cuando se seque tienes que lijar. Después es que se podrá pintar.
Amigos esto es un arduo trabajo, pero vale la pena invertir en tu hogar, para que puedas sentirte a gusto dentro de tu casa. Ninguna inversión que realices en pro del embellecimiento de tu hogar será en vano; todo lo contrario, te reportará bienestar y tranquilidad. Eso no tiene precio.
