El Gran Derrame de Aceite
Hola amigos de Hive, en esta ocasión me encuentro participando en la gran iniciativa , la cual es promovida por @ocd en su programa de incubacion de comunidades, esta iniciativa me parece muy especial, ya que incentiva la creación de contenidos en la cumunidad de #HiveMotors.
Todos los que hemos incursionados en el mundo de la mecánica hemos atravesado alguna mala experiencia y más aún si estamos practicando la mecánica por primera vez.
Dicen que cuando una persona es novato o novata se demuestra al momento de realizar las cosas, y creo que no se equivocan, porque es muy común escuchar “hizo una novatada” cuando alguien esta haciendo alguna actividad por primera vez.
En mi caso yo no fui la excepción y cometí mi novatada cuando realicé por primera vez el cambio de aceite al motor del carro.
Cuando tenía como 16 años mi mama compro un carro marca Lada, modelo Niva, para que lo utilizáramos de forma conjunta mis hermanos y yo a la hora de realizar las compras del hogar y también para ir a clases. Al momento de entregarnos el carro nos delegaron la responsabilidad de cuidar, conservar y mantener el carro, cosa que nosotros entendimos y asumimos.
El cambiar el aceite al carro era una de las responsabilidades que traía al tenerlo, razón por la cual yo un día me vi motivada a realizarlo por mí misma. Como era la primera vez que yo realizaría el cambio de aceite no dude en hacer pregunta a los expertos y asesorarme para hacer esta tarea yo.
Después de indagar mucho, me sentí decidida a realizar el cambio de aceite al motor de la Niva, yo consideraba que conocía todo lo necesario para hacer el cambio, previamente compré el filtro de aceite y los lts de aceite necesarios.
Compre la marca de aceite Castrol porque me dijeron que era una de las mejores que había en Venezuela, y a juzgar por su precio tenía que serlo.
En la teoría se veía fácil el realizar el cambio de aceite, así que eche manos a andar y empecé con la tarea que yo misma me había propuesto, en la practica todo me estaba resultando tan fácil como se veía en la teoría, todo marchaba bien, realice “cada uno” de los pasos que me indicaron, pero resulta que obvie un solo paso, el paso que daría como origen a esta mala experiencia.
Yo consideraba que había realizado todo de manera adecuada y perfecta, ya me sentía una experta mecánica, y apenas le estaba echando el aceite nuevo al carro. El motor requería 5 potes de aceite, de los cuales ya había echado 4 potes, cuando de repente sale mi abuela y me dice: “y esa agua que esta debajo del carro?”, yo la ignore totalmente pues yo no estaba haciendo nada con agua, y según yo todo estaba bien, seguí en mi trabajo y nuevamente se me acerca alguien, en este caso era mi mama y con una gran grito me dice: “votaste todo el aceite del carro, hay un derrame allí abajo!”, esta vez si no pude ignorar lo que me dijeron y me decidí a agacharme a revisar, y pues si tenían razón, se había votado todo el aceite nuevo que estaba echando, y es cuando me doy cuenta que había obviado un paso, solo uno, y este paso fue, el colocar nuevamente el tapón en el cárter del motor, cuando nos dimos cuenta ya que era tarde, ya estaba el gran derrame de aceite.
Por un tiempo fui víctima de bromas pesada por parte de mis amigos debido a esta mala experiencia y periódicamente me recuerdan el gran derrame de aceite que causé en el garaje de la casa.

All of us who have ventured into the world of mechanics have gone through some bad experience and even more if we are practicing mechanics for the first time.
They say that when a person is a novice it shows when they do things, and I think they are not wrong, because it is very common to hear "he did a hazing" when someone is doing some activity for the first time.
In my case I was no exception and I committed my hazing when I did my first oil change to the engine of my car.
When I was about 16 years old, my mother bought a Lada car, model Niva, so that my brothers and I could use it together to do the household shopping and also to go to school. When the car was given to us, we were delegated the responsibility to take care of the car, preserve and maintain it, which we understood and assumed.
Changing the car's oil was one of the responsibilities that came with having it, which is why one day I was motivated to do it myself. As it was the first time I would do the oil change I did not hesitate to ask the experts and advise me to do this task myself.
After a lot of research, I was determined to change the oil in the engine of the Niva, I considered that I knew everything necessary to make the change, previously I bought the oil filter and the necessary liters of oil.
I bought Castrol oil because I was told it was one of the best in Venezuela, and judging by its price it had to be.
In theory it looked easy to perform the oil change, so I started with the task that I had proposed myself, in practice everything was going as easy as it looked in theory, everything was going well, I performed "each" of the steps that I was told, but it turns out that I missed a single step, the step that would give rise to this bad experience.
I considered that I had done everything properly and perfectly, I already felt I was an expert mechanic, and I was just pouring the new oil into the car. The engine required 5 pots of oil, of which I had already poured 4 pots, when suddenly my grandmother comes out and tells me: "and that water that is under the car?", I totally ignored her because I was not doing anything with water, and according to me everything was fine, I continued in my work and again someone approached me, in this case it was my mom and with a big scream tells me: "you voted all the oil from the car, there is a spill down there! "This time I could not ignore what they told me and I decided to bend down to check, and if they were right, I had voted all the new oil I was pouring, and that's when I realize that I had missed a step, just one, and this step was to put the cap back in the crankcase, when we realized it was too late, there was already the big oil spill.
For a while I was the victim of heavy jokes from my friends because of this bad experience and periodically they remind me of the big oil spill I caused in the garage of the house.
