Hoy llegó al taller un cliente con su carro un Toyota camry año 1998.

Today a customer came to the workshop with his 1998 Toyota Camry.
Este camry llegó con una falla de gasolina en el motor , empezá a descartar la bomba de gasolina y para ello utilizé un reloj para medir la presión de gasolina que sale de la bomba.
This camry arrived with a gasoline failure in the engine, I started to discard the fuel pump and for this I used a watch to measure the pressure of gasoline coming out of the pump.
hay que recordar que la bomba de gasolina cuando usan una cápsula en el tanque de gasolina , la gasolina sale regulada con una precisión de 45 PSI a 50 PSI porque ya viene regulada , así que le metí el reloj a ver si tiene los PSI correctos.
remember that the gas pumps when they use a capsule in the gas tank, the gas comes out regulated with an accuracy of 45 PSI to 50 PSI because it is already regulated, so I put the watch to see if it has the correct PSI.
Ya con el reloj puesto en la línea de carga procedí a pasar el suiche para que active la bomba de gasolina.
With the clock set on the load line, I proceeded to pass the suiche to activate the fuel pump.
Está bomba está mandando 40 PSI , y de acuerdo a esa presión concluí que tiene buena presión de gasolina.
Así que descarte la bomba de gasolina y procedí a revisar el filtro de gasolina.
With the clock set on the charge line, I proceeded to pass the suiche to activate the fuel pump.
So I ruled out the fuel pump and proceeded to check the fuel filter.
Aquí estoy sacando el filtro de gasolina.
Here I am removing the fuel filter.
Aquí les voy a mostrar el estado en que se encontraba el filtro de gasolina , en muchos casos como aquí en Venezuela los clientes los mandan a limpiar pero como éste estaba demasiado sucio el cliente trajo uno nuevo.
Here I am going to show you the state the fuel filter was in, in many cases like here in Venezuela the clients send them to be cleaned but as this one was too dirty the client brought a new one.

Ya teniendo el filtro nuevo procedí a montar
Once I had the new filter, I proceeded to assemble.
Después de montarlo se pasó el suiche 4 veces para cargar el sistema de gasolina y poder prender
Una ves que prendió se le quitó la falla que tenía el Toyota camry.
After assembly, the suiche was run 4 times to charge the fuel system and start the engine.
Once it was turned on, the Toyota Camry's fault went away.
Estás son las herramientas que utilice.
These are the tools I use.
Si les llega a pasar algo parecido no se desesperen recuerden todo tiene solución , revisar primero que los PSI de la bomba de gasolina sean los correctos , chequear el filtro porque puede estar sucio.
If something similar happens to you, do not despair, remember that everything has a solution, first check that the PSI of the fuel pump is correct, check the filter because it may be dirty.

Hola, justo hace poco hablé de algunas herramientas, entre ellas ese reloj. El problema en Venezuela es la mala calidad de la gasolina y suena ilógico, ya que era una de las mejores pero todo a cambiado al punto de ensuciar los filtros y dañar incluso motores. Saludos amigo.

STOPHola amigo @ferbu bien ilustrado tu post viendo el estado del filtro de combustible como mecánico yo fuera sacado la bomba de la gasolina para reemplazar el filtro de la pila, aparte de eso fuera desmontado la flauta de los inyectores y soplo la linea del combustible para evitar que todo ese sucio pesado evite llegar a los micro filtros.
Y por ultimo te recomiendo no re usar los filtros de gasolina porque una vez que los limpias y soplas cuando lo vuelves a conectar la presión sigue desprendiendo el sucio y se tapan los inyectores.
