Bueno hoy les voy a mostrar un mantenimiento que le hice a los tambores trasteros de mi carro y se lo hice pues estaban en muy mal estado y antes que se dañarán más les hice mantenimiento ya que el tiempo y el óxido se lo estaba desaciendo y si no lo hacía me iba a quedar sin tambores un día de estos y eso sí sería terrible.
Lo que hice fue desarmar, quitar los cauchos para así llegar a los tambores para poder sacarlos y así poder hacer el mantenimiento.
Ya estando afuera los tambores les di una ligada, primero con una lija número 40 para poder quitar el óxido más rápido pues estaba muy pero muy feo y luego le pase una lija número 180 para terminar de quitar todo el óxido y así también poder pintar los tambores. No los iba a pintar pero conseguí una pintura que me gusto pues hacia juego con el color de carro y decidí aplicársela para que duren mas los tambores y se vean más bonitos.
Bueno ya teniendo todo listo aquí les muestro el resultado del mantenimiento que les hice a los tambores de mi carro, en este caso utilice una pintura anti corrosivo pero si ustedes le van hacer algo así a sus carros y no tienen pintura anti corrosiva le pueden colocar un fondo anti corrosivo y luego cualquier pintura de su agrado.

Well today I'm going to show you a maintenance I did to the rear drums of the car and I did it because they were in very bad condition and before they were damaged more I did maintenance because the time and the rust was getting worse and if I did not do it I was going to run out of drums one of these days and that would be terrible.
What I did was to disassemble, remove the tires to get to the drums so I could take them out and do the maintenance.
Once the drums were out, I gave them a rubbing, first with a number 40 sandpaper to remove the rust faster because it was very, very ugly and then I passed a number 180 sandpaper to finish removing all the rust and also to be able to paint the drums. I was not going to paint them but I got a paint that I liked because it matched the color of the car and I decided to apply it to make the drums last longer and look nicer.
Well now having everything ready here I show you the result of the maintenance I did to the drums of my car, in this case I used an anti corrosive paint but if you are going to do something like this to your car and do not have anti corrosive paint you can put an anti corrosive primer and then any paint to your liking.

Sobre el trabajo está bien eso que dices de la pintura Anti corrosión ya que eso proteje de no oxidarse. Me hubiera gustado una imagen del carro completo, ya con ese trabajo terminado. Quizás para futuras publicaciones.

Y respondiendo lo del carro bueno cuando después que termine se me olvidó tomar la foto completa ja ja ja
El oxido hace de las suyas, que bueno que te tomastes el tiempo para realizar este trabajo, pero como te dice Josue, ojalá hubieras incluido una foto del carro entero a ver como combina ese color jeje.

Ese trabajo aparte de estético es escencial para prolongar la vida de las partes, siempre es bueno pintar ese tipo de piezas con pinturas que soporten temperaturas altas, y lo segundo es que te sirve para evaluar y calibrar los frenos traseros cuando desmontas los tambores
Así mismo es brother , se le alarga la vida .... Gracias
Ese tipo de mantenimiento es súper importante he sabido que el óxido hacen tanto daño a los tambores que puede dañar hasta el grado de partir piezas. Que bueno que lograste pintarlos también. Saludos
