Hi everyone, Welcome to my post regarding the "SHARE YOUR BATTLE" Challenge. For this week's challenge, I'll be sharing my battles using salah satu monster dari RIFTWATCHER EDITION, Queen of Crows. And before going to the main discussion.........

The ruleset for this time is KEEP YOUR DISTANCES with 38 mana. KEEP YOUR DISTANCES is a situation where Monsters with Melee attack may not be used in battles..

My Line-Up

CardsAbilityReason
Give additional Cripple ability to All AlliesOne of the reasons I'm using Dallan is because he's one of the cheapest rented Summoners I can find.

Another reason is that there's a possibility of the opponent focusing on defending by relying on monsters that have HEAL abilities (Heal, Tank Heal, Triage). CRIPPLE is tasked with reducing the Max HP of the opponent's monster little by little so that when healed, the Health points of the monster are not at their full state.
Shield and Void (Lv1)
+ Magic Reflect (Lv2)
I rely on Lord Arianthus to fill the first position because he is able to reduce the damage he receives from all kinds of monsters (Melee, Ranged, and Magic). And at level two, Lord Arianthus has MAGIC REFLECT which is able to reverse attacks from Magic monsters when he is hit by them.
Amplify (Lv1)
+ Giant Killer (Lv3)
I chose to use Cabalist because it has AMPLIFY which is very suitable in combination with abilities like MAGIC REFLECT owned by Lord Arianthus. Meanwhile, Giant Killer is useful when your opponent brings a monster that has 10 Mana.
Snipe (Lv1)
+ Silence
Death Elemental is tasked with reducing the attack points of the opponent's Magic monster with the ability he has (SILENCE)
Close Range (Lv1)
+ Headwinds
While Queen of Crows I chose because she has HEADWINDS which is useful for reducing the attack points of the opponent's Ranged monster.

Queen of Crows can also be useful as a TANKER when the 3 monsters in front of her are defeated by the opponent, because she has quite a lot of Health and CLOSE RANGE ability even though she is a Ranged monster.
Snipe and Camouflage (Lv1)Magi Necrosi will help Death Elemental to focus attacks on Ranged/Magic/No Attack monsters that are not in the first position.
Affliction and Camouflage (Lv1)
+ Poison (Lv2)
If Dallan uses CRIPPLE to reduce the opponent monster's Max HP, then Doctor Blight is tasked with preventing the opponent monster from healing themselves by using his AFFLICTION. And POISON will reduce their Health points every round without being able to heal themselves (if successfully hit by AFFLICTION).

BATTLE START !!!

I was at a slight disadvantage because my opponent used a Summoner who had the highest level for the Gold League (Level 6 for Rare Summoner) so the stats and abilities of the monsters she brought were more varied. Meanwhile, I used a Summoner who had the highest level for the Silver League (Level 3 for Epic Summoner).

After all abilities are applied.....

Thaddius Brood's ability grants 1 Health point reduction to all my monsters and 1 attack point reduction to all magic monsters. Additional abilities from monsters in the form of adding 1 SPEED to all monsters belonging to the opponent granted by Supply Runner.

Dallan's ability grants an additional CRIPPLE ability to all my monsters. The additional ability of the monsters is a 1 attack point reduction to all magic monsters of the opponent by Death Elemental, and a 1 attack point reduction to all Ranged monsters of the opponent by Queen of Crows.

In the first round, the opponent's 3 Ranged monsters (Supply Runner, Dhampir Stalker, and Gargoya Devil) attacked Lord Arianthus. However, their attacks cannot be maximized because Lord Arianthus has SHIELD. The opponent's 2 Magic monsters (Venari Bonesmith and Life Sapper) also tried to attack Lord Arianthus but their Attack points were too small to deal any damage. After receiving attacks from the enemy Magic monsters, Lord Arianthus returned the attacks to them with more thanks to AMPLIFY owned by Cabalist.

Lord Arianthus was poisoned as a result of Venari Bonesmith's attack.

When it was my turn, Death Elemental and Magi Necrosi who had SNIPE attacked Riftwing. While Cabalist, Queen of Crows, and Doctor Blight attacked Gargoya Devil (The poison from Doctor Blight could not hit Gargoya Devil yet).

In Round 2, the opponent lost 2 Magic monsters (Venari Bonesmith and Life Sapper) to MAGIC REFLECT from Lord Arianthus after they tried to attack him. And the opponent's 3 Ranged monsters (Gargoya Devil, Supply Runner and Dhampir Stalker) managed to defeat Lord Arianthus after he was previously affected by the poison previously administered by Venari Bonesmith.

Magi Necrosi and Death Elemental attacked Riftwing who previously received additional Health points due to the death of 3 monsters in the battle arena. Cabalist managed to defeat Gargoya Devil, but this made Riftwing get an additional 1 Health Point again. Because Gargoya Devil was defeated, this made Riftwing in the first position and made him the main target. This was not wasted by Queen of Crows and Doctor Blight who attacked and reduced his Health to 3 points.

In the third round, Magi Necrosi and Death Elemental attacked Dhampir Stalker. However, Dhampir Stalker and Supply Runner managed to defeat Cabalist so Riftwing got another 1 point of health.

Round three ended with attacks from Queen of Crows and Doctor Blight aimed at Riftwing. Doctor Blight also managed to deliver Poison to Riftwing.

image.png

In the fourth round, Riftwing lost due to the poison effect previously given by Doctor Blight. His position was replaced by Dhampir Stalker which is a Ranged Monster (cannot attack in the first position if it does not have the CLOSE RANGE ability).

The attack from Supply Runner managed to hit Death Elemental, but his attack was countered by Magi Necrosi who was now targeting him. My other 3 monsters (Death Elemental, Queen of Crows and Doctor Blight) focused their attacks on Dhampir Stalker. Once again, Doctor Blight managed to deliver Poison to Dhampir Stalker so that he immediately lost the next round due to the poison and only left Supply Runner in the first place who could not do anything because he was a Ranged monster.

STRATEGY (Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?)

My strategy may have been maximized, but the end result was a bit beyond my expectations. Lord Arianthus had to lose in the second round and it was all because he was poisoned. Attacks from the opponent's 3 Ranged monsters are also very difficult for Lord Arianthus who is not supported by HEAL monsters.

For the next strategy, I want to replace Dallan with a Summoner that is specialized to reduce the damage of Ranged monsters (One of them is Contessa L'ament)

Do you like Queen of Crows?

One of my few favorite monsters from the RIFTWATCHER edition. Even though it requires high Mana to use it, it is quite useful as a TANKER because it is equipped with high Health points and CLOSE RANGE. And at level 3, she gets HEADWINDS ability which is quite useful when she has to deal with Ranged monsters (like in this battle) without bringing a Summoner like Contessa L'ament.
