Alegria // Ellas y sus navidades / Joy // They and their Christmases

Greetings beautiful community, I am here to leave you this post where I tell you how we enjoy Christmas in my family in this 2022 that has just passed.

Since my childhood Christmas was the time I enjoyed the most, the feeling of joy and love that the month of December brings with it is very special, and invites us to give and share with those we have around us.

Before I became a mother I bought a Christmas tree, always thinking that the little ones would be excited to decorate and see the lights announcing the joy of Christmas, at that time the little ones were my nephews, and they were happy when the special moment to decorate it arrived.

Now my nieces and nephews are men and women, some with children of their own, and they enjoy Christmas with their own families.

When I became a mother, the meaning of Christmas is more focused on my daughters and how I can give them a memorable Christmas, something that they will always carry in their minds and memories.

I confess that this year has been financially tough and we don't have the money to buy new decorations, paint for our house and things to give as gifts, for that reason, I didn't feel like putting up the Christmas tree.

The priority is food, however, this does not take away my girls' illusion to take out their Christmas tree and decorate it, so for them the most important thing is that their tree is lit this Christmas.

December 21st is Christmas spirit day in many places, after many busy days, we finally had the time to take the tree out and decorate it.

In previous years I was the one who decorated the tree, but my daughters are growing up and Christmas is theirs, so I left that little job to them, but in family communion, we all did something so that the tree would light up this Christmas.

Perhaps we adults let ourselves be absorbed by the problems and needs of everyday life, and as we get older it is difficult for us to continue with the magic of Christmas in our lives.

I can only tell you that even in the worst moments of our lives, we must continue to exercise our faith and keep our eyes on the true meaning of Christmas, as it is the birth of Jesus Christ.

My daughters put up their Christmas tree, they say that if there are no Christmas lights at home then Christmas has not come, so, yes or yes Christmas has come to our home, with my naughty girls.

They enjoy seeing their tree lit every night, they look forward to the arrival of the baby Jesus, but most of all they enjoy the family time and the joy that this season brings, I love watching them plan how they would like to spend Christmas.

Their greatest joy is found in every Christmas tree they come across, for them it is like a symbol of happiness, it is as if in every tree they get a little piece of the child God blessing their way.

I know that when they are adults and have families of their own, they too will try to give their children the best Christmas ever.

This is the end of this post, I hope you like to know a little bit of the joys of my little ones.
