Con esta foto estoy participando en el concurso fotográfico de esta semana organizado por @qurator, cuyo tema es ”madera” ( wood en inglés). Los reglas del concurso se encuentran en este enlace.
The photo corresponds to a detail of a tree bark. We can consider it as wood, but “uncut” or “raw wood”. I am always interested with the abstract patterns formed on the tree barks. This photo is the result of one of these researches. I show the image in three chromatic variations, sepia tone, black and white and original color, respectively. As you can see there are very similar, but I prefer the sepia version.
La fotografía corresponde a un detalle de la corteza de un tronco de un árbol. Podemos considerarlo como madera no cortada todavía. Siempre me han interesado los patrones abstractos que uno puede encontrar en los troncos de los árboles. Esta fotografía es el resultado de una de estas búsquedas. Muestro la imagen en tres versiones cromáticas diferentes: tono sepia, blanco y negro y el color original, respectivamente. Como se puede apreciar son muy similares, aunque prefiero la version sepia.
The photo was taken in Vienna (Austria) with a camera Sony Alpha 6 (ILCE 6000) equipped with lenses Sony E PZ 16-50mm F3.5-5.6 OSS. The images were edited using Gimp.
Las foto fue tomada en Vienna (Austria) usando una cámara Sony Alpha 6 (ILCE 6000) dotada con lente Sony E PZ 16-50mm F3.5-5.6 OSS. La edición de las imágenes se efectuó en Gimp.

The first thing I see in that photo is a face in the tree, with two eyes and a mouth. Neat.

That is true, this is a reason that I choose this photo. I did not stated explicitly, because I wanted the viewer to figure it out by himself/herself.
