Hive.Blue, formerly our first account creation service, has been repurposed as an onboarding and connection service for businesses, dapps, and other group initiatives that wish to enter the Hive ecosystem but need support beyond creating an account.
The move comes after many excellent account creation partners have opened their doors and started reliably offering their onboarding services to the general public. At the same time, the need to professionally onboard and offer valuable development information to projects is an ongoing concern. Hive.Blue is formally stepping in to assist with this in a collaborative and open manner.

Statement of Intent
The Hive Venture Center 'Statement of Intent' reads:
The Hive Blue Venture Center is a non-divisive, business-focused project aimed at connecting innovators, organizations and investors with the Hive ecosystem. It cohabits with and supports other segments of the decentralized ecosystem. It's goal is to foster opportunities within Hive and promote communication. Hive Blue is an organic outreach-focused initiative.
This service works for Hive in general and not for itself. I will connect and introduce those onboarded to other new and established projects in the Hive ecosystem as relevant. The goal is to help build cohesive relationships across our general community and support a stronger Hive. This is the power of decentralization.
Existing Hive members who already have Hive accounts but need a hand to get their projects running are welcome to reach out.
Focused Services
The services the Hive Venture Center offers can be generally divided into three categories:
Guided account launch
- Comprehensive discussion with the prospective ecosystem member
- Creation of (and recovery service) initial account(s)
- Overview of the various features of Hive
- Introduction to accounts, keys, and functionality
Connections and introductions
- This is where the new ecosystem member gets introduced to Hive
- Personal introductions with similar or complimentary dapps or relevant services
- Introduction to different existing Hive communities

Development help
- Talks on how to best integrate an existing dapp or product with the Hive blockchain
- Helping the new ecosystem member figure out how to access the technical resources they need
- Keeping the product resilient to abuse and exploitation (ensuring the new ecosystem member's product doesn't get spammed or scammed)
Roadmap
The website itself is a work in progress and is under regular development. Right now it sports a Help Chat, a contact form, and an overview of Hive. The links on the page are general Hive social media and resource locations and are there to help prospective ecosystem members access relevant resources to make their decision and understand Hive.

Q: How can I support the Hive Venture Center?
A: If you know of a dapp, a business, a team or a service that is interested in building on or moving to Hive all you need to do is put me in touch with them.
Q: How do I get my logo on the partners list?
A: You need to have an app or product, a website, and send me a logo that is white with a transparent background. The current list are those who volunteered their logos and those we connected with the Hive ecosystem.
Q: Who decides the general "signup partner" link?
A: That links is a revolving one and will change to a different free onboarding service every few months.
Q: Are you charging for this?
A: No, its a free service and will always be a free service.
Q: Is this service a replacement for Hive.io?
A: Absolutely not. It's a focused information portal. The Hive Venture Center is not part of any governance, alliance, group or other product. It is simply a free service for the benefit of all of Hive.
