RE: The Myth of Slack

There are (presumably as you and most people know) effective channels of communications set up for everyone to be a part of everything that goes on.

To list a few:

The Hive discord server:

https://discord.gg/jZ87WRq

The Hive Improvement Community

https://hive.blog/trending/hive-102930

(Set up for this exact purpose)

Then there are also the following for those who do wish to follow the coding and directly participate in that process too:

The public, open source GitLab: https://gitlab.syncad.com/hive
The developer's portal: https://developers.hive.io/

Note to those not familiar with Gitlab:

If you are not familiar with how the service for coders works, I highly recommend you "Subscribe" to the relevant repositories.

That way you will get emails sent to you and you can read what is going on in your inbox, rather than having to log into Gitlab etc.

Each channel of communications needs to be effective and serve its purpose.

There is no "exclusivity" or any form of "nepotism".

Hive is in a very competitive industry, that is growing and expanding at lightening speed. Hence effectiveness, efficiency and outright good business practices in the field of communications needs to be adhered to.

Otherwise, we are bound to become just another "statistic" in this momentous, fast paced blockchain scene.

I understand that there is a lot of "FUD" everywhere in the crypto scene, but seriously, looking at things as realistically, rationally and logically as possible, we here = ALL OF US, have to date done more in the field of ensuring means of community interaction and participation than idk what all other blockchains out there. I literally can not think of one which can compare to what we have in place for Hive.

Again, we can ALWAYS do more and better. Striving for success and improvements is always a good means to be on top of things at all times.

I sincerely hope that we all appreciate the efforts being put in to make Hive everything it can be.

Cheers.

Thanks for info. Yes, you are right.
I was just joking to annoy guiltyparties :-)

It flew right over my head!

In that case, then yeah, ignore everything I said and annoy the living heck out of GP.

PS. I hear he likes to sing in the shower. Allegedly this is his favourite song:

"Man! I Feel Like a Woman"
