Adding Staked SPS to Hive Open Polls vote results

Adding Staked SPS to Hive Open Polls vote resultsThis is part two of of this wish https://genie.peakd.com/@peak.open/adding-hive-engine-tokens-to-hive-open-polls-results-1719340200680

First we will add vote results to be shown by Hive-Engine tokens and pull from those api nodes.

After developer is done with that project we will work on ability to pull from other API sources. In this case we will start with Splinterlands.

The developer will have some work in order to work on the protocol for checking the API... when and how often during the vote process. Token balances are often in flux and this was a challenging task for votes by HP and will be perhaps more challenging for hive-engine and SPS.

We consider both these wishes part of one larger project and will be paying the majority of the funding at the completion of the second part.
Meaning 500 of the 800hbd upon completion of this second part.

Beyond increasing the technical abilities of the Hive Open Polls backend we also believe that polls that serve tokenized communities on Hive-Engine and also Splinterlands are what will presently benefit the Hive community at large the most and bring very interesting polls and interaction on Hive.

This wish is just for the backend development and there will still be more work done by several other people at the Peak Open Projects and the UIs that integrate these features.

This is a post created on the open genie platform you can view it best on this user interface: https://genie.peakd.com/@peak.open/adding-staked-sps-to-hive-open-polls-vote-results-1719490035454

@borislavzlatanov

glad to have you on the task

the work was both for Hive Engine weighted polls which then we reused the code for this SPS weighted polls

Hi good day,

I'll solve this as well, since this is just part two of the earlier task.

Thank you

the original developer of Hive Polls showed interest... but we're very curious about your abilities as perhaps there are other opportunities. Are you familiar with the open source code base for this project already? Are there other things you'd love to see added to polls?

Hi tenks for the reply yes I'm aware of the code. I would love to make the polls more interactive and help in it's integration. Here we can do both design that is frontend and integrate it in a meaningful way in the backend, taking up less memory and improving the user interaction as a whole.
