Plantearse retos ayuda a evolucionar y aprender de las nuevas experiencias, por eso en esta ocasión decidí inspirar mi maquillaje en peces Koi. Y pude darme cuenta que no es igual dibujar en un papel a plasmar la idea en el rostro, trabajar con piel es mucho mas delicado al momento de exponer los diseños.
Challenges help to evolve and learn from new experiences, so this time I decided to inspire my makeup in Koi fish. And I realized that drawing on paper is not the same as capturing the idea on the face, working with skin is much more delicate at the time of exposing the designs.
Los peces Koi, son una especie de Asia, los cuales son considerados símbolo de perseverancia y a su vez representan el amor y la amistad, ya que hay que tener voluntad para continuar ante tan valorado compromiso, así se presenten momentos difíciles.
Koi fish are a species of Asia, which are considered a symbol of perseverance and in turn represent love and friendship, because you have to have the will to continue with such a valued commitment, even in difficult times.
Proceso || Process
Para iniciar me gusta tener un lienzo con un color uniforme, por eso apliqué base líquida en el rostro. Luego con lápiz delineador dibujé dos peces koi, ubicados uno arriba y otro debajo del ojo.
To start I like to have a canvas with a uniform color, so I applied liquid foundation on the face. Then with eyeliner pencil I drew two koi fish, one above and one below the eye.
Al tener el diseño ya marcado, empecé a añadir sombras color salmón y naranja para definir los colores y partes de los peces Koi. Luego con sombra color blanco aclaré para las zonas de luz y con el naranja delineé y di profundidad, oscureciendo en las zonas de sombra o donde recibe poca luz.
Having the design already marked, I started to add salmon and orange shadows to define the colors and parts of the Koi fish. Then with white shadows I lightened for the light areas and with orange I outlined and gave depth, darkening in the shadow areas or where it receives little light.
Al tener rellenos los cuerpos di inicio al delineado y definición de las figuras, añadiendo los bigotes, ojos, aletas y algunas manchas de piel, con lápiz delineador negro para ojos y pintura negra.
Once the bodies were filled, I started to outline and define the figures, adding the whiskers, eyes, fins and some skin spots, with black eyeliner pencil and black paint.
Para finalizar este maquillaje inspirado en peces koi, rellené con azul celeste los parpados de los ojo y el contorno de los peces. Con azul cobalto delineé la circunferencia azul celeste y los párpados superiores mis ojos. Y para complementar el diseño maquillé mis labios con labial color naranja.
To finish this koi fish inspired makeup, I filled in the eyelids of the eyes and the outline of the fish with light blue. With cobalt blue I outlined the sky blue circumference and the upper lids of my eyes. And to complement the design I made up my lips with orange lipstick.
