La función del corrector es la de camuflar las imperfecciones del rostro. La clave es elegir el tono correcto, pues cada color es específico para una imperfección, y en caso de usar el color incorrecto, vamos a conseguir el efecto contrario, es decir, vamos a destacar un poco más lo que queremos corregir. Para escoger bien los tonos debemos elegir el opuesto al de la imperfección que queremos esconder. Para entender un poco más fácil esto vamos a usar las directrices del círculo cromático.
The function of the concealer is to camouflage the imperfections of the face. The key is to choose the correct tone, since each color is specific for an imperfection, and in case of using the wrong color, we will achieve the opposite effect, that is, we will highlight a little more what we want to correct. To choose the tones well, we must choose the opposite of the imperfection that we want to hide. To understand this a little easier we are going to use the guidelines of the color wheel.
Vamos a comenzar con el color verde. Si nos ubicamos en el círculo cromático podemos observar que el color opuesto al verde es el rojo. Esto quiere decir que el corrector verde lo podemos utilizar para tapar barritos, espinillas, venitas rojas o alguna rojez que tengamos en el rostro.
Let's start with the green color. If we place ourselves in the chromatic circle we can see that the opposite color to green is red. This means that the green corrector can be used to cover bars, pimples, red veins or any redness that we have on the face.
Naranja: El color opuesto al naranja es el azul, entonces este corrector lo podemos usar en unas ojeras muy marcadas, de esta manera neutralizaremos el color de la ojera.
Orange: The opposite color to orange is blue, so this concealer can be used in very marked dark circles, in this way we will neutralize the color of the dark circles.
Morado: Con este corrector podemos dar luz a las pieles muy blancas, además podemos usarlo en partes muy amarillas del rostro o en manchitas color café (como las cicatrices del acné).
Purple: With this concealer we can give light to very white skin, we can also use it on very yellow parts of the face or on brown spots (such as acne scars).
Amarillo: Si nos conseguimos con una ojera morada podemos usar este corrector, de igual manera podemos emplearlo para un moretón o un golpe, alguna vena morada o alguna mancha que se vea de este color.
Yellow: If we get a purple dark circle we can use this concealer, in the same way we can use it for a bruise or a bump, a purple vein or any stain that looks this color.
Salmón: Con este neutralizamos manchas verdosas en el rostro, también podemos disimular las ojeras en las pieles con tonos más claros.
Salmon: With this we neutralize greenish spots on the face, we can also hide dark circles on skin with lighter tones.
Aplicación
Estos correctores los podemos aplicar con un pincel y lo difuminamos con el dedo anular sin aplicar presión o con una esponjita húmeda. Es muy importante no saturar el rostro de producto y difuminarlo bien para que no se vea una mancha de color fuerte.

En caso de que apliquemos correctores con más pigmentación (como lo son los líquidos) se debe usar una base con buena cobertura o también puedes aplicar encima del corrector de color uno beige del tono de tu piel para que no se llegue a notar el color del corrector.
If we apply correctors with more pigmentation (such as liquids), a base with good coverage should be used or you can also apply a beige color corrector to your skin tone so that the color of the skin is not noticeable. concealer.
Es de suma importancia que se dejen secar este tipo de correctores para que al momento de aplicar la base, el corrector ya esté adherido a la piel y se trabajen bien por separado las capas de la base y el corrector, pues sino se va a mezclar y se va a correr todo y terminaremos haciendo un pegote.
