Particularly mind I am fascinated with the realistic paintings and in 3 dimensions and not only that but I have also seen three-dimensional technique in digital art and it is something worthy of admiration and I literally invest part of my free time is to review and study all kinds of images that attract my interest and that serve me as inspiration for the makeup work that I dream to do. In this sense I want to show you an image that I found that captivated me from the first moment. It is the digital face in 3 dimensions of the Portuguese singer Emmy Curl, and perhaps to someone it may seem simple but this image is enigmatic and complex, you can not specify where one side of the face begins and where it ends. They are perfectly amalgamated. A very well done and beautiful work in my opinion. | Particularmente mente estoy fascinada con las pinturas realistas y en 3 dimensiones y no solo eso sino que también he visto técnica tridimensional en el arte digital y es algo digno de admiración y literalmente invierto parte de mi tiempo libre es revisar y estudiar todo tipo de imágenes que atraen mi interés y que me sirven de inspiración para el trabajo de maquillaje que sueño hacer. En este sentido quiero mostrarles una imagen que encontré que desde el primer momento me cautivó. Se trata del rostro digital en 3 dimensiones de la cantante portuguesa Emmy Curl, y quizás a alguien pueda parecerle algo simple pero está imagen es enigmática y compleja, no se puede precisar dónde empieza uno de los lados de la cara y dónde termina. Están perfectamente amalgamados. Un trabajo en mi opinión, muy bien logrado y hermoso. |
I took a big risk in trying to replicate this design, and I confess that I am not totally satisfied, as in most of the things I do, but in this one there is a lot to improve, especially in the shading as it is the laborious part of this work. On the other hand I had to work with my own profile and mine is not so pronounced, my nose has a fallen septum and the profile didn't help me much, however I can't help but share with all of you the boldness I had when I tried to recreate it. I share with you the step by step details: | Me arriesgué mucho al intentar replicar este diseño, y les confieso que no estoy totalmente satisfecha, como en la mayoría de las cosas que hago, pero en este hay mucho que mejorar, especialmente en el sombreado ya que es la parte laboriosa de este trabajo. Por otro lado tuve que trabajar con mi propio perfil y el mío no es tan pronunciando, mi nariz es de tabique caído y no me ayudó mucho el perfil, sin embargo no puedo dejar de compartir con todos ustedes la osadía que tuve al intentar recrearlo. With brown eyeliner pencil I outlined the outline of my face on my cheek. Then I applied foundation from there to the opposite side. Next I made up the eyebrow profile starting in the middle of the natural eyebrow and extending towards the forehead. From there I moved on to paint the eye which is right in the middle of the nose septum. | Con lápiz delineador de ojos color marrón delineé el perfil de mi rostro en mi mejilla. Luego apliqué base de maquillaje desde allí hacia el lado opuesto. Seguidamente maquillé la ceja del perfil iniciando en la mitad de la ceja natural y extendiendo hacia la frente. De allí pase a pintar el ojo que está justo en medio del tabique de la nariz. |

I applied black body paint to one side of the face in profile to create the shadow and started working on the nose lines, shadows and nostril, made up the mouth in profile and the natural mouth with red lipstick and applied paint and details on the false eye. | Apliqué pintura corporal negra a un lado del rostro en perfil para crear la sombra y comencé a trabajar las líneas de la nariz, sombras y orificio nasal, maquillé la boca de perfil y la natural con labial rojo y apliqué pintura y detalles en el ojo falso. |
This is how I finished the makeup and although it may not look like it was very laborious to achieve the resemblance between the false profile and my real face, that's where the real heart of the matter lies.
