A few days ago I was wanting to dedicate a nice makeup to this beautiful season of the year, so here it is. I hope you like it!
Que hermosa estación la primavera!
Ahora que vivo un poco más sumergido en la naturaleza, es mucho más notable la llegada de esta época del año. Los árboles pelados, secos, que parecían ya sin mucha vida, comienzan a llenarse de pequeños brotes verdes y en cuestión de días, todo el paisaje se torna de este color. Las aves vuelan y cantan con más frecuencia, las flores se abren y las mariposas danzan a su alrededor como celebrando su llegada.
What a beautiful season spring! Now that I live a little more immersed in nature, the arrival of this time of year is much more remarkable. The bare, dry trees, which seemed without much life, begin to fill with small green shoots and in a matter of days, the entire landscape turns this color. The birds fly and sing more frequently, the flowers open and the butterflies dance around them as if celebrating their arrival.
Para este maquillaje escogí a mi sobrino mayor como modelo ya que quería agregar algún complemento y él es el que tiene mas paciencia en cuanto a quedarse quieto. 🤣
Comencé dándole a su rostro una base bastante clara para unificar el tono y que luego resalten aún más, los colores que utilizaré.
For this makeup I chose my older nephew as a model since I wanted to add some accessories and he is the one who has the most patience when it comes to staying still. 🤣I began by giving her face a fairly light base to unify the tone and then highlight even more, the colors that I will use.
Con una esponja de látex comencé a pigmentar su rostro simulando un paisaje de atardecer, para ésto utilice color rosado para la parte superior y celeste para la parte inferior esfuminando la unión de ambos colores en el centro de la cara.
Luego cogí un pincel redondo chato y continué dibujando nubes con maquillaje acuarelable blanco. Para dar el efecto de nube, primero apoyé el pincel cargado de maquillaje y lo arrastré hacia abajo para darle un poco de transparencia a la parte inferior de cada nube. Repetí este proceso hasta quedar satisfecho con la cantidad de nubes.
With a latex sponge I began to pigment her face simulating a sunset landscape, for this I used pink for the upper part and light blue for the lower part, blurring the union of both colors in the center of the face.Then I took a flat round brush and continued drawing clouds with white watercolor makeup. To give the cloud effect, I first propped up the makeup-laden brush and dragged it down to give the bottom of each cloud a bit of transparency. I repeated this process until I was satisfied with the amount of clouds.
Seguido a ésto, cogí un pincel con forma de abanico y en él apliqué 4 pigmentos diferentes, púrpura, amarillo, naranja y violeta. Luego tomé el pincel por la parte final del mango y dejando que fluya sin presionar demasiado, tracé algunos arcoiris sobre el rostro de mi modelo.
Following this, I took a fan-shaped brush and applied 4 different pigments to it, purple, yellow, orange and violet. Then I took the brush by the end of the handle and letting it flow without pressing too much, I traced some rainbows on my model's face.
Una vez finalizado el fondo, mezcle algunos pigmentos marrones y anaranjados para crear varios tonos, y con éstos, dibuje ramas de árbol atravesando el rostro del modelo de derecha a izquierda. Utilizando los marrones más oscuros para las sombras de las ramas y los anaranjados para las partes iluminadas.
Once the background is finished, mix some brown and orange pigments to create various shades, and with these, draw tree branches across the model's face from right to left. Using the darkest browns for the shadows of the branches and the orange ones for the illuminated parts.
Para concluir con esta obra, quería jugar con complementos. Encontré entre mis cosas, estas florcitas de colores secas que generalmente se usan para los souvenirs y pegué una por una sobre las ramas, utilizando pegamento en látex para maquillaje artístico.
Finalice el look agregando al modelo, una tiara con hojas que había hecho para otro maquillaje hace ya un tiempo. Y este fue el resultado final.
To conclude with this work, I wanted to play with accessories. I found among my things, these little dried colored flowers that are generally used for souvenirs and I glued one by one on the branches, using latex glue for artistic makeup.Finish off the look by adding to the model, a leafy tiara that she had made for another makeup a while ago. And this was the end result.
