¿Cómo definir y conocer la forma ideal de tu ceja?
En este post explicaré y daré unos tips para embellecer tus cejas.
Las cejas son los pelitos que están por encima de los ojos y ayudan a protegerlos del polvo, sudor, y otros agentes externos.
La cejas resaltan la mirada y pueden cambiar por completo la expresión de tu cara por eso es muy importante conocer y definir cuál es la forma de las mismas.
Materiales necesarios:
- Pinza de ceja
- Peine o cepillo de ceja
- Regla
- Lápiz de maquillaje blanco

How to define and know the ideal shape of your eyebrow?
In this post I will explain and give you some tips to beautify your eyebrows. The eyebrows are the little hairs that are above the eyes and help protect them from dust, sweat, and other external agents. The eyebrows highlight the look and can change the expression of your face, that is why it is very important to know and define their shape.
You will need:
Eyebrow tweezers
Comb or brow brush
Rule
White makeup pencil
Normalmente las cejas ya tienen unas medidas establecidas, aquí explico cada una de ellas.
La separación entre ambas cejas es de 2cm. Para eso colocamos la regla y marcamos el inicio de cada ceja y el punto medio de referencia. (Con líneas verticales).
Normally the eyebrows already have established measures, I will explain you what are those measures.
The separation between both eyebrows is 2cm For that we place the ruler and mark the beginning of each eyebrow and the midpoint of reference. (With vertical lines).
Luego medimos del lagrimal hacia la parte inferior de la ceja 1,5cm (línea horizontal). Esto para dar inicio junto con la línea del paso previo.
Then we measure from the lacrimal to the lower part of the eyebrow 1.5cm (horizontal line). This to start along with the line from the previous step.
Luego de manera vertical y a la mitad de la ceja medimos 2cm, desde la línea de pestañas hasta la parte inferior de la ceja (línea horizontal) y 3cm desde la línea de pestañas hasta la parte superior de la ceja.
Then vertically and in the middle of the eyebrow we measure 2cm, from the eyelash line to the bottom of the eyebrow (horizontal line) and 3cm from the eyelash line to the top of the eyebrow.
Para continuar medimos de manera horizontal desde la primera línea que marcó el inicio de la ceja 3cm y trazamos (línea vertical), en personas con cejas cortas la medida suele ser 3cm pero en cejas largas puede llegar a ser 3,5cm. Esta línea marcará el inicio de la curvatura de la ceja.
To continue, we measure horizontally from the first line that marks the beginning of the eyebrow 3cm and we draw (vertical line), in people with short eyebrows the measurement is usually 3cm but in long eyebrows it can be 3.5cm. This line will mark the beginning of the curvature of the eyebrow.
Luego para definir la cola o final de la ceja medimos desde el punto inicial de la curvatura 2cm hacia el final de la ceja.
Then to define the tail or end of the eyebrow we measure from the initial point of the curvature 2cm towards the end of the eyebrow.
Ahora llegó el momento de unir todos los puntos. La parte superior de la ceja podemos trazarla con la ayuda de la regla ya que esa parte es recta. Unimos el punto de inicio de la ceja con el punto medio y continuamos hacia el punto de inicio de la curvatura. Ahora desde el punto de inicio de la curvatura hacia el punto final de la ceja (esta línea es recta pero con una inclinación).
Now it's time to connect all the dots. The upper part of the eyebrow can be traced with the help of the ruler since that part is straight. We join the starting point of the eyebrow with the midpoint and continue towards the starting point of the curvature. Now from the starting point of the curvature to the end point of the eyebrow (this line is straight but with a slant).
Bien, ahora la parte inferior de la ceja es recomendable hacerlo a mano alzada guiándonos con los puntos 4 puntos (inicio, lagrimal, medio y cola) esta línea va pegada a la ceja recordando marcar un poco la curvatura de la ceja en relación a la curva superior.
Well, now the lower part of the eyebrow is recommended to do it freehand, guiding us with the points 4 points (beginning, tear, middle and tail) this line is glued to the eyebrow remembering to mark a little the curvature of the eyebrow in relation to the upper curve.
Y listo, ya tienes el diseño de tu ceja, ahora puedes proceder a limpiar con el método de tu preferencia, si tienes muchos vellos puedes usar cera depilatoria y si presentas pocos vellos la pinza de cejas que muchas de nosotras ya sabemos cómo utilizar, en este caso yo use la pinza de cejas.
Estos trazo también pueden servirte para practicar el maquillaje perfecto para tus cejas, sin salirte de los bordes así como cuando aprendíamos a colorear y luego retiras con un hisopo las líneas blancas.
And voila, you already have the design of your eyebrow, now you can proceed to clean with the method of your preference, if you have many hairs you can use wax and if you have few hairs the eyebrow tweezers that many of us already know how to use, in this case I used the eyebrow tweezers. These lines can also be used to practice the perfect makeup for your eyebrows, without going off the edges, as when we learned to color and then remove the white lines with a swab.
