Finalmente hoy es 31 de Octubre, el dÃa que se celebra Halloween. Siempre he mencionado que no soy una persona que sigue la tradición de Halloween, de hecho no la conozco, pero si me gusta esta época para explotar mi lado creativo. Este año me quede con las ganas de hacer muchas cosas realmente, me hubiese gustado hacer mucho más de lo que pude hacer, pero eso es tema para otro post. Para finalizar esta temporada, les traigo un clásico, un maquillaje de Calabaza el cual fue un poco complicado de hacer.
Finally today is October 31st, the day we celebrate Halloween. I have always mentioned that I am not a person who follows the tradition of Halloween, in fact I don't know it, but I do like this time of the year to exploit my creative side. This year I really wanted to do a lot of things, I would have liked to do much more than what I could do, but that's a topic for another post. To end this season, I bring you a classic, a Pumpkin make up which was a little complicated to do.
Antes de comenzar con las fotos estuve aplicando jabón en mi ceja izquierda para aplastarla, maquille mi ceja derecha de forma normal, aplique corrector en mi parpado derecho y en mi rostro trace las lÃneas guÃas. En mi lado derecho me realice un maquillaje tradicional, en mis ojos comencé aplicando un tono negro, el cual difumine hacia la parte interior del parpado, seguidamente en mi esquina interior coloque un tono cobrizo el cual intensifique con Glitter para luego realizar un delineado, el cual casi no se notó por lo negro de la sombra, pero en la esquina interior estuve alargándolo para darle un poco más de protagonismo.
Before starting with the pictures I was applying soap on my left eyebrow to flatten it, made up my right eyebrow in a normal way, applied concealer on my right eyelid and on my face I traced the guide lines. On my right side I did a traditional makeup, on my eyes I started applying a black tone, which I blurred towards the inner part of the eyelid, then on my inner corner I applied a copper tone which I intensified with Glitter to then make an eyeliner, which was almost not noticeable because of the black of the shadow, but in the inner corner I was lengthening it to give it a little more prominence.
Siguiendo con el lado derecho estuve haciendo mi piel con mis productos favoritos, con respecto ala base estuve utilizando la de Dolce Bella, la cual me esta quedando un poco oscura ya que he estado más clara de piel. Como corrector estoy utilizando el de la misma marca, el cual es hidratante y en el tono Honey ilumina muy bien mi piel. Únicamente me realice contornos en mi piel, ubicándolo bajo del pómulo y un poco en la frente, selle todo con polvos sueltos y la zona del contorno con un bronzer en polvo. En mi lado izquierdo realice más lÃneas guÃas para realizar la calabaza.
Continuing with the right side I was doing my skin with my favorite products, with respect to the base I was using the Dolce Bella, which is getting a little dark as I have been lighter skin. As concealer I am using the one from the same brand, which is moisturizing and in the Honey tone it illuminates my skin very well. I only contoured my skin, placing it under the cheekbone and a little on the forehead, I sealed everything with loose powder and the contour area with a powder bronzer. On my left side I made more guide lines to make the pumpkin.
Utilizando mi paleta de Atenea, la cual es una paleta de pinturas corporales para maquillajes artÃsticos, estuve llenando casi todo mi lado izquierdo de naranja, luego realice unas pequeñas lÃneas en rojo para hacer dimensión y luego le coloque sombra naranja para sellar e intensificar los coloques. Siguiendo con la paleta de pinturas corporales estuve haciendo la parte de negra, el ojo y la boca de la calabaza, selle con sombra negra esa zona y luego con una brocha de detalle tome sombra roja y volvà a repasar las lÃneas rojas difuminando muy bien. Con un poco de delineador coloque muchas lÃneas dispersas y también añadà más detalles al rostro, en las lÃneas limitantes con el otro lado hice un efecto con sombra, coloque pestañas postizas y en mis labios un tono muy negro.
Using my Athena palette, which is a palette of body paints for artistic makeup, I was filling almost all my left side with orange, then I made some small lines in red to make dimension and then I put orange shadow to seal and intensify the colors. Continuing with the palette of body paints I was doing the black part, the eye and the mouth of the pumpkin, I sealed with black shadow that area and then with a detail brush I took red shadow and went over the red lines again blurring very well. With a bit of eyeliner I placed many scattered lines and also added more details to the face, on the limiting lines with the other side I made an effect with shadow, I placed false eyelashes and on my lips a very black tone.
Honestamente este maquillaje no me encantó del todo, el rostro si me gustó mucho pero el cuello no me gustó demasiado, creo que pudo salir mejor, pero me tomo varias horas de mmi noche hacerlo y mentalmente estaba cansada para pensar en detalles. Hacer maquillajes artÃsticos siempre será un reto para mi, pero es algo que suelo disfrutar cuando realmente me quedan muy bien. TenÃa pensado hacer un maquillaje de diablita para estos dÃas pero por cuestiones de tiempo y de estudio no pude hacer mucho, mu maquillaje favorito de todos definitivamente fue el Makeup Stitching. Honestly I didn't love this make up, the face I liked a lot but the neck I didn't like too much, I think it could have been better, but it took me several hours of my night to do it and mentally I was too tired to think about details. Doing make-up artistry will always be a challenge for me, but it's something I usually enjoy when it really looks good on me. I had planned to do a little devil makeup for these days but due to time and study issues I couldn't do much, my favorite makeup of all was definitely the Makeup Stitching.
