Hola chicas, espero que estén súper bien, el día de hoy venimos nuevamente con #MakeupChallenge de @lucianav y @ambarvegas, esta semana con un tema muy importante para todos: La Ecología. Un tema que busca promover el cuidado de nuestro planeta.
La verdad pensé mucho para hacer este maquillaje, por que más que hacer un simple look, de verdad quería dejar un mensaje para el ser humano, quien, en su mayoría, es el responsable de los problemas que sufre nuestra amada tierra.
Trate de imaginar, si la tierra fuera una mujer, como seria, como sería ahorita, como seria su aspecto con todos los problemas ambientales que hoy enfrenta, y me dolió mucho darme cuenta que de seguro no seria una mujer muy feliz.
Hi girls, I hope you're doing super well, today we come again with #MakeupChallenge from @lucianav and @ambarvegas, this week with a very important topic for everyone: Ecology. A theme that seeks to promote the care of our planet.
I really thought a lot about making this makeup, because more than just a look, I really wanted to leave a message for the human being, who, for the most part, is responsible for the problems our beloved land suffers.
I tried to imagine, if the earth were a woman, how it would be, how it would be now, how it would look with all the environmental problems it faces today, and it hurt me a lot to realize that for sure I would not be a very happy woman.
Admito que no es la imagen que esperaba, hubiera preferido usar mucho más verde, quizás en todos sus tonos e ignorar el marrón y el naranja, pero eso sería igual a ignorar los problemas que aquejan a la tierra.
I admit that it is not the image I expected, I would have preferred to use much more green, perhaps in all its shades and ignore brown and orange, but that would be the same as ignoring the problems that afflict the earth.
De aquí en adelante vamos a hacer una dinámica, imaginen que ustedes son la tierra y que se tienen que enfrentar día a día, a cambios constantes de animo (cambio climático), a vivir rodeada de basura (contaminación), a ver como alguien lastima constantemente eso que vieron crecer y que es parte de ustedes, sin que ustedes puedan hacer nada (deforestación), aguantar que alguien más decida sobre su cuerpo (degradación del suelo), a aguantar sed durante periodos muy largos (escasez de agua), ser testigos de como sus mejores amigos se extinguen (extinción de especies y pérdida de biodiversidad), y así podemos seguir todo el post.
Creo que todos en algún momento hemos tenido que pasar por estos problemas, pero, ¿todos juntos?.
Como nos sentiríamos si todos los días brindáramos vida, cobijo a todas las personas del mundo pero ninguna de ellas se detiene a pensar que eso que hace, quizás sin querer, nos lastima.
Escribiendo esto siento más admiración por la tierra, ¿saben?, porque definitivamente ha aguantado mucho más de lo que una persona podría, porque aún después de todo lo que ha enfrentando durante miles y miles de años, nos sigue brindando árboles con enormes ramas y hojas que nos dan sombra, de su tierra fértil y grandes mares podemos obtener alimento, nos brinda oxigeno, vida, que es lo más importante.
La tierra es la madre más preciada que tenemos, y como tal debemos cuidarla, brindarle apoyo, quererla y pedirle perdón por todo el daño que le hemos hecho.
No les pido que cambien de la noche a la mañana, no les pido que cambien dentro de una semana, un mes, solo les pido que piensen que lo que hoy están leyendo y reflexionen sobre si la tierra realmente se merece malos hijos o por el contrario se merece los mejores del mundo.
From here on we are going to make a dynamic, imagine that you are the earth and that you have to face day by day, to constant changes of mood (climate change), to live surrounded by garbage (pollution), to see how someone constantly hurts that which you saw grow and that is part of you, without you being able to do anything (deforestation), to put up with someone else deciding about your body (soil degradation), to endure thirst for very long periods (water shortage), to witness your best friends going extinct (species extinction and biodiversity loss), and so we can follow the whole post.
I think we've all at some point had to go through these problems, but all together?
How would we feel if every day we gave life, shelter to all the people in the world but none of them stops to think that what they do, perhaps unintentionally, hurts us.
Writing this I feel more admiration for the earth, you know, because it has definitely endured much more than a person could, because even after all it has faced for thousands and thousands of years, it still provides us with trees with huge branches and leaves that give us shade, from its fertile land and great seas we can get food, it provides us with oxygen, life, which is the most important thing.
The earth is the most precious mother we have, and as such we must take care of it, give it support, love it and ask it to forgive us for all the harm we have done to it.
I am not asking you to change overnight, I am not asking you to change in a week, a month, I am just asking you to think about what you are reading today and reflect on whether the earth really deserves bad children or on the contrary deserves the best in the world.
Ahora bien chicas (os), vamos a comenzar con la realización del maquillaje:
Lo primero que hice fue mis cejas, como no tenia un lápiz en tono verde, lo que hice fue hacer la forma de la ceja con la ayuda de un corrector y sobre él apliqué una sombra verde, luego como de costumbre utilicé el mismo corrector y una brocha plana para limpiar los bordes.
Now, girls, let's start with the makeup:
The first thing I did was my eyebrows, as I didn't have a green pencil, what I did was to make the shape of the eyebrow with the help of a concealer and on it I applied a green shadow, then as usual I used the same concealer and a flat brush to clean the edges.
Para comenzar con las sombras, coloqué corrector en mis párpados, difuminé y sellé con polvo compacto
To start with the shadows, I put concealer on my eyelids, blurred and sealed with compact powder
Para las sombras primero apliqué un tono verde en mi cuenta. Realicé un semi cut crease y creé una degradación de colores con verde claro, anaranjado y verde oscuro en la parte externa del ojo para dar profundidad.
For the shadows I first applied a green shade to my account. I made a semi cut crease and created a color gradient with light green, orange and dark green on the outside of the eye to give depth.

Luego apliqué base en mi rostro, cuello y la parte alta de mis hombres, difuminé y selle con polvo compacto
Then I applied base on my face, neck and the top of my men, blurred and sealed with compact powder

Posteriormente, con los mismos colores que usé para los ojos realicé un degrade en el rostro, cuello y parte alta de los hombres, primero con el color verde de base, y luego realicé varias manchas con anaranjado.
Later, with the same colors I used for the eyes, I made a gradient on the face, neck and upper part of the men, first with the green color as a base, and then I made several spots with orange.

Apliqué las mismas sombras verde claro y oscuro en los parpados inferiores, un delineador blanco en la línea del agua y rimel. Por último utilicé iluminador y un labial marrón oscuro matte.
I applied the same light and dark green shadows on the lower eyelids, a white eyeliner on the water line and mascara. Finally I used highlighter and a dark brown matte lipstick.
Ahora bien chicas (os), al principio les dije que seguramente si la tierra fuera mujer no fuera muy feliz, pero, también les dije que a pesar de todos el maltrato que a sufrido la madre tierra, ella nos sigue brindando lo mejor de si, y a eso quiero hacer honor en esta ultima imagen.
Porque a pesar de todos los problemas ambientales que hoy vive, ella sigue sonriendo, y sigue brindándonos vida.
Now, girls, at the beginning I told you that surely if the earth were a woman it would not be very happy, but I also told you that in spite of all the mistreatment that mother earth has suffered, she continues to give us the best of herself, and I want to honor that in this last image.
Because in spite of all the environmental problems that she is experiencing today, she continues to smile, and continues to give us life.
Quiero felicitar a @lucianav y @ambarvegas por esta iniciativa y por este tema en particular, de verdad que el mensaje de todas las personas que he leído me ha encantado y sé que de poco a poco podemos hacer la diferencia.
