Snowy street photography-3

Street photography was the very first genre to reflect honesty in a shot that met the criteria for pure photography. All other documentary genres of photography emerged from street photography.

The document in the photo is literally the very honesty, that is, without additional means of expression: editing, staging, retouching.

All the first snow photo reportage was done in my whole day on the street. But I have broken it down into subcategories, such as graphics, street photography (with people), minimalism, abstraction, textures, and ordinary cityscape.

Of course, all genres have something in common or are very closely related.

I specifically chose the microdistrict in Vologda, where textures, colored walls of houses, wooden sheds and picturesque courtyards are concentrated.

It is always cozy here, it is interesting to walk and have something to shoot!

Minimalistic landscapes, urban environments and textures are in high demand among stock photography companies.

But when you shoot specifically to order, it doesn't come out very well.

I never shoot such scenes on request.

Nobody needs them.

Unless there is any reportage message in the plot.

Or if the urban landscape does not acquire artistic value.

For me it's all one thing - documentary reporting.

To be continued...
