Drive by urbex at an abandoned anti aircraft battery

On my travels around the country for work purposes, I often hear of abandoned places to shoot. It's not easy doing urbex in your work clothes but suffice my posh work shoes ain't no match for a muddy location. This is a four gun battery in Stallingborough, North Lincolnshire and a brief but exciting tour:

The gun battery emplacements, this is one of four and the least overgrown:

This one is a little more overgrown:

And here I was definitely asking for wet feet tramping through the semi flooded bunker: (This one was focus stacked and shot using long exposures)

Like I say, this was a "gun and run" shoot and I'll be returning in the dark to light this place up at night!

About me:
I usually specialise in shooting lightpainting images but occasionally dabble in urbex and artistic model photography. I'm always on the lookout for someone to collaborate with; please don't hesitate to get in touch if you'd like to create art.

I'm looking forward to see the pictures you'll do at night here!

Cheers pal, it's a mud bath in places but it's on my "to do" list!

I'm sure you've got a pair of boots ;)
I'm scouting a lot of locations atm too, waiting for the end of the curfew to score decent shots.

Beautiful publication. Thanks you.

Thanks very much, I'll be back here to shoot it in the dark!
