杭州郭庄这次新优花卉展上彩色马蹄莲的颜色有红色、粉色、紫色、黄色和混色。据举办方介绍，目前，中国北京、江苏、云南、四川、台湾、福建等省市有培育用于观赏。
马蹄莲花期为3~4月份， 这次展出的彩色马蹄莲是室内温控培育的。马蹄莲的花语因花色而有所区别。

红色象征: 圣洁虔诚，永结同心；吉祥如意，清净喜欢。
粉色象征: 爱你一生一世。
