Just like every year, we don’t celebrate Valentines Day on 14/02 but rather another day to avoid the crowds. Now since having kids, we organise a special dinner according to the kids times so this week we have asked my in laws to see if they can come over to our place to watch over the kids when hubby and I go out for our Valentines Day dinner. I found a nice Japanese restaurant at Neutral Bay on the lower north shore. This restaurant requires booking especially during COVID as it is not a big restaurant.
每年情人節我們都不會正日出外面慶祝，都會盡量揀另外一天.尤其是有了小朋友之後很多事情或節日都要按照他們的習慣而今次老爺奶奶剛好有時間所以今個星期我跟老公在外面慶祝情人節. 我在 Neutral Bay 找到一間比較受歡迎的日本餐叫 Izakaya Samurai.因為疫情的關係這間餐廳都希望客人預先訂枱.
The menu is only available on the iPad but they have a huge variety of Japanese meals. We ordered a variety of dishes including a sashimi main, tuna hand roll, deep fried crab roll, eel fried rice, uni sashimi, karage octopus and mochi for dessert. Sounds lots of food but some of the items are entree sizes.
這裏叫菜都是在平板電腦所以每一天的菜色有可能會變.今次我們叫了一份魚生，吞拿魚手卷，炸蟹卷，鳗鱼炒飯，炸八爪魚，海膽刺身和一款日本甜品. 看起來好像叫了很多東西但其實很多都是頭盤的 size.
The sashimi and uni sashimi was so fresh. This place is very popular amongst the locals because their food is known to be fresh. All of the dishes were very up on par with most of the popular Japanese restaurant we have been to and in particular the eel fried rice had lots of eel and the serving was generous. Great service and each seating was for 90 minutes which was plenty as they serve your food very quickly so you have plenty of time to enjoy and have a good chat over a nice meal.
這間餐廳在 Neutral Bay 很受大家歡迎, 食物質素都很高. 魚生和海膽都很新鮮沒有令我們失望.大部份食物都非常好味尤其是鳗鱼炒飯份量多味道很濃. 每一個 Booking 都只限坐90分鐘但因為上菜時間很快, 客人都可以有時間慢慢吃不用太急.服務方面這裏很好，服務員招呼周到.今年的情人節雖然簡單但吃得很開心.
