When we visit a new town or somewhere far away from Sydney, we like to to visit some of op shop and old book stores to find some gems. This time in Bathurst we came across a cool old book store called. It was looked after by a sweet lady and was very knowledgeable. She showed hubby the books he was after and even recommended some great ones according to his interests.
每次去旅行我們都會去一些舊書店或二手店尋寶.今次到巴瑟斯特就找到一間舊書店叫 Keppel Street Book.這間店的店長是一位老人家認識好多書而且好健談. 她介紹很多書給老公而這間書店有很多難找的書他們這裡都有.
There was a cute children’s corner and Baby E started to read some classic books. Surprisingly he sat there for some time and enjoyed the book he chose while we waited for hubby to finish his shopping.
雖然這間書店很少但都有一個小角落給小朋友讀一些經典的兒童書. 像 BB E 他好有興趣在這個小角落坐了很久讓我老公慢慢可以專心揀書.
Prices aren’t here can’t be compared to Vinnies or Salvos but it was reasonable priced for high quality books. Some of the books are hard to find and have them. Hubby ended up buying 4 books and costs him around $40 which wasn’t cheap but he found what he wanted which was a winner. Great place to drop by if you are looking for some great books.
我發覺舊書店的價錢不可以跟傳統二手店相比因為都會有一些比較難找或比較新的書所以價錢會高一點. 老公最後買了四本書大概用了 $40. 雖然不是很平宜但找到心頭號已經贏了.如果想找一些特別的書不妨在這間店新詢問一下可能有意外驚喜.
