“Chap on Eagle”
I drew this picture, background, and digitally processed it. This is my previous dog who came to Canada with me. She is flying on the legal’s back in this picture. She lived longer even though she was sick. She was the coolest French Bulldog in my life! Her name was Chap because she was pide (black and white) like Charlie Chaplin’s movie. She walked like Charlie Chaplin when she was very young.
Also, one of Chaplin’s movies called “A Dog’s Life” is my favorite movie. There is a pretty dog in the film. The dog in the film is similar to my recent dog who came after Chap to my life. Additionally, the dog in the film has the same patch on its eye as Chap.
This artwork is my vision of Chap. She often flies on the eagle’s back like this through my vision. She comes above me whenever I want to see her. In fact, I see bald eagles almost all the time from our house. That’s why it’s easy to imagine her.
“鷲の上のチャップさん”
切り絵のデザインと背景画を描いてデジタル加工しました。このデザインは、一緒にカナダに移住してきた、前に飼っていた犬が鷲の背中に乗って飛んでいるところです。病気になってしまったのですが、かなり大往生でした。私にとって最高のフレンチブルでした！名前はチャップ。由来はチャーリー・チャップリンからきています。チャップリンの映画のように体の色がパイド(白黒)ですし、産まれたての頃はヨチヨチとチャップリンのように歩いていたからです。
さらに、チャップリンの作品の中に『犬の生活』と言う映画があるのですが、その中にとてもかわいい犬が出てきます。その映画に出てくる犬は、チャップが亡くなった後に我が家にやってきてくれた現在飼っている犬に似ていますが、目の部分はチャップの柄に似ています。
このアートはわたしの思い描くチャップです。チャップは鷲の背中に乗って自由自在に空を飛び回っています。わたしが会いたいなと思う時は、鷲と共にさっそうと現れます。実際に、わたしの家の庭ではハクトウワシが飛んでいるのがほぼ毎日見えます。ですから、鷲の上のチャップを想像するのは簡単なのです。

これは切り絵のデザイン段階でして、薄いトレーシングペーパーに描いたデザインをアクリル画の上に載せて写真を撮り、それをデジタル加工しています。実際に切った切り絵もアクリル画などの背景に載せて写真を撮りデジタル加工します。
コロナの影響後に実際の展示場からデジタルの世界へ移行したので、色々試しながら楽しんでいます！
今日も鷲を見ました。きっと背中に乗って飛んでるのかな〜と想像しています。
