“Mountain Life”
Since I moved to the mountain, I am noticing that I feel like I have more time and space just a little bit. So does my dog. I can go downtown in around 10 minutes by car. I grew up at the foot of a mountain. This environment is a pretty close to my childhood’s environment. Also, the ocean is and was not far. I know the smell of the ocean from the mountain.
On the other hand, I also lived in big cities as well. I liked to live downtown. However, I selected near nature even though I lived downtown. Big city or countryside? Hmm... I like both. I wish I could move following the seasons.
I took a picture of crystal-looking frost the other day. Yet, around noon, they were all gone. I like to find tentative beauty in the morning.
The other photo is of mushrooms on my yard tree! They are probably Turkey Tail or could be False Turkey Tail. When my husband saw them last year at the same spot, they were smaller. This year, they look like mature mushrooms.
“山の暮らし”
山に引っ越してから、時間的にも空間的にも自分に余裕が少しできた気がします。犬もそうだと思います。とは言っても、町中まで車で１０分もあれば着くような山中です。わたしは山のふもとで育ちました。今住んでいるところにどことなく似た環境です。それにどちらの環境も海にわりと近いです。海のにおいが山にいてもわかります。
街中に住んだこともあります。街に住むのも好きです。街中でも自然に近い場所を好んで住んでいました。大都市か田舎暮らしか？んー、どちらも好きです。季節ごとに移動できればいいのにと思います。
この前クリスタルのような霜の写真を撮りました。でも昼ごろには全部とけてしまいました。朝だけ見ることができるかりそめのきれいなものを見るのは楽しいです。
もうひとつの写真は庭のきのこです！カワラタケかニセカワラタケだと思います。主人が去年見た時はもう少し小さかったらしいです。今年は成長して大きくなりました。

キャンプへ行く時も、山へ山へと向かって行きます。
都市暮らしか、田舎暮らしか。
私もどちらも好きで、同じく、季節ごとに移動できればいいのにと思っています。
夏は海の近くで、冬は山で過ごせたら理想的ですよねー。川や海で魚釣りができて、山でブッシュクラフトが出来る方は最強ですね！！でも都会でゆっくり遊ぶのも捨てがたいです^_^
