Dear Nigeria🇳🇬,

It is with great joy I am writing to you, commemorating you on another added years. A man of 60 years is no more a small boy, he is a man, with many children and possibly grandchildren. Here you are, with the little success you've made, you need to be commended. But today is not a day for commendation. It's a day to reflect on the mistakes of the past and the solutions to it thereby creating a better future for us all.

They do say you got your Independence too early, I don't really want to believe that, even a premature baby do grow up to be the Nobel prize winner. How much more you, you don't have an excuse not to be great like other countries. Truth is, there is no specific time to be independent. Every time is good, depending on how you use it.

There are so many things wrong with you, Mr Nigeria. With the height of it being corruption. There hasn't been a country whom corruption has eaten deep into and changed its DNA like you, Nigeria. The earlier the better you start to work on this because it will soon go into every nook and cranny of your blood system thereby making it impossible to cure.

Before that, you still have a chance to pause, think and change, it's never too late.

Mr Nigeria🇳🇬, another thing is a change of leadership by those over you, ruling you for there benefit, taking what they wanted at the expense of others. You can imagine your oils, natural resources, wealth that belongs to all of us your family members are being siphoned into a single person wallet. While we wallow in poverty. A lot of mass degrading is happening to us all, while they hide this from you, we suffer😭😢 and we smile😆.

If you can look into it, change the leaders and the structure of the system. Who knows, things might change for the better.

This point I am about to make is the most important. It is rebranding, reshaping and reengineering the average Nigerian mind. 99% of your populace already is corrupted and thinks in the 'me' 'me' mentality. What is needed for a community is in the pocket of one single person. Which is not good.

The solution to this is to start a new thinking idea in the mind of everyone. A mentality that say '"Nigeria belongs to all of us"'. The mindset that put you before me. It's with that that we can move forward. Or else .....

I can go on and on to highlight problem and the solutions. But I am not God to know all and see all. If you can attend to the
few stated above. Things will start getting better.

Once again, I wish you happy 60th birthday and more blessed and glorious years to come.

God bless you Nigeria 🇳🇬, you're still the pride ✊ and the giant💪 of Africa🌍.

Yours faithfully
Botefarm Bodhi
