Dealing with Road Accidents...

Last week my very good friend and course mate buried his mom and twin sister who died in a ghastly motor accident, it was very sad for the whole family.

Two months ago Nigeria’s first Female Air Force pilot also died in an accident and the rate of accidents in our states is becoming too much.

Using Nigeria as a case study, our interstate roads are in very bad condition often called federal roads and so left for the government to create and maintain.

Also, Road safety officials often neglect their duties by taking bribe and sometimes allowing overloaded cars and trucks to move on the road.

Other times, people without valid license are also allowed to move around.

There is so little we can do to avoid road accidents but they are still very important.

Like Avoid drinking and driving

2.If you’re driving and you get a call, pull over and finish your call before you continue, always pay attention on the road.

3.Don’t assume you know the intentions of other drivers and always indicate before changing lanes.

4.Try to observe your drivers if they’re acting a certain way.

The Government needs to maintain and upgrade our roads that’s one of the major causes of road accidents.
Police and road safety officials needs to do more and stick to their job instead of taking bribe.
These are very important!

This is specially dedicated to everyone who has lost a loved or who has a physically disabled loved one due to road accidents.

You’re not alone and please take heart.
