Being a Nigerian as made me understand certain mindsets and mentality most Nigerians may have, if an opportunity is shared with them.
Well you won't blame most of them because of the environment we all grew into.
Ranging from survival of the fittest to some favoured elites who have everything at their beck and call.
It's no news also that crypto currencies is gradually becoming a daily talk by most Nigerian youths and most are eager for any opportunity that may surmount to them earning crypto, such that alot fall prey to most of this scams trailing the crypto space now.
My suggestions are:
- Peer to peer engagement
It is quite inexplicable the possibilities of peer pressures, most peers who may not have minds of their own term to easily flow with whatever is trending.
So those who already have seen the possibilities of the Hive community can start by sharing their genuine experiences with their peers to invite them to the Hive community. - Online promotions via socials
I believe the power of online promotions is second to none and promotions via our individual social handles such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and WHATSAPP status can also go a long way to put the words out.
I believe this are my few thoughts on the subject matter and discussion of the week.

Your suggestion is quite apt and can most probably work well with the sort of society we have. Peer pressure works well with growth on Hive but from my experience, follow up is necessary. A lot of people get many people on the platform but continuance proves difficult over time.
Secondly, social media promotion is a great way to get more people here but it requires twice as much work than the first one. It's easy to bully your friend to be active but harder to bully an acquaintance. Our major battle is with a mentality. The moment we can get people to understand that being on Hive is a favour to them and not to yourself, we will see progress.
