It's a good thing to find out that I finally found a community created for hivers in my country NIGERIA.
I started blogging on hive late last month(not up to a month now) and I think I've been doing well.
ABOUT MY COUNTRY, NIGERIA
Nigeria is a country blessed with a lot of natural resources and good people. We have hardworking, diligent and brilliant people in Nigeria who work tirelessly in achieving their goals in life.
There are lots of things to talk about in Nigeria;

MY PEOPLE
Nigeria is filled with people of good nature. We are;
- Creative.
- Hardworking .
- Intelligent.
- Brilliant.
- We have hustling spirit.
- We can survive in any part of the world.
- We can do anything legal to survive.
- We adapt to changes easily.
THE FOOD WE EAT
Food varies depending on the ethnic group in my country. We have a variety of food in my country but I will mention few among them; yam, rice, beans, vegetables, melon, palm Oil, e.t.c.
Palm Oil: Palm oil is gotten from palm tree. We have a lot of substances gotten from palm tree e.g palm wine, palm oil, broom, e.t.c. Palm oil is used in preparing soup and stew. It is generally needed when cooking.
There is a place where palm tree is been treated, planted and processed to good palm oil in my country. The name of the place is NIFOR(Nigeria Institute For Oil palm Research). It is located in Edo state and palm oil is produced at large quantities for export there.
Corn can be eaten as boiled corn, it can be processed to pap, it can also be roasted (roasted corn), e.t.c
Beans can be cooked with pepper, it can be used to make bean cake, e.t.c
Locust beans is good for human sight.
Cocoa is a good ingredient in the production of beverages widely taken by humans.
OUR BELIEF
Nigeria has 3 major ethnic groups;
1.)Hausa
2.)Igbo
3.)Yoruba

Yoruba
- The Yoruba has a mode of greeting based on season/time. In the morning, afternoon and evening, they will say "E kaaro o", "E kaasan o" and "E kaale o" respectively.
- They are very unique in their way of doing things.
- They value education.
- They are hardworking and intelligent.
- Their custom and tradition is paramount to them.
- The male child prostrates to greet his parents when he wakes up in the morning while the female child kneels to greet her parents.
Igbo
- They have hustling spirit.
- They love money.
- They are business oriented and has good business strategies.
Hausa
- They cherish their culture.
- Real love exist amidst them.
- They are united.
- They are the most populous among the three ethnic group followed by the Yoruba's.
THE COOL PLACES IN NIGERIA
There is a lot of tourist centre in Nigeria where you can go and see some amazing things. We have beaches and sea as well.

WHAT I LOVE ABOUT MY COUNTRY
What do u like about Nigeria
Agriculture: Weather condition supports some plants thereby making a source of income.
Adaptation: We can survive/adapt anywhere we find ourselves. We have surviving spirit. We cope easily with any situation.
Creativity: We are talented and very skillful. Creativity is not far from us.
Nigeria is a great Nigeria because we are blessed by many things like natural resources, the likes of crude oil and so on.
